The 2026 Philadelphia Cycling Classic is back and we found an
O’Brien’s Water Hole Tee. On display at Valerio Manayunk Cafe come check it out.
Since the first Philly Classic in 1985 Bill O’Brien set up a custom shower head and sprinkler as a cyclist cooling station midway up the grueling “Manayunk Wall” at his home on Lyceum Ave. Cooling off both cyclist and spectator alike, his home became a fan favorite spot to watch the cyclists go by. O’Brien’s Water Hole hasn’t been open since he moved in 2007, but this shirt is a reminder that a little bit of compassion can go a long way to bring a community together.
