Good morning and happy Thursday all my beautiful people. What a gorgeous morning it is so far. Sunshine, cool breeze, fresh air, ahhhhh. It is absolutely glorious! This is my morning to run errands so I actually will get to be out in it a little bit. I hope all of you are able to enjoy it some as well.

I've got a busy morning, so this will be a shorter post. But we did want to remind you all that our ice cream is up and running for you. We have already moved a ton of it, but for those of you that haven't tried it yet, head down to see us at Dawn's Cafe and let us get you some of that ice cream goodness you are craving. While we arent trying to be a ice cream shop, we do have a decent amount of ways for you to mix it up a bit. And we can do our milkshakes in pretty much any reasonable flavor! This is our chocolate milkshake with some drizzle and sprinkles added. Come by and see what flavor we can make for you.

Good morning and happy humpday beautiful people. Its already mid week and we are only a few days away from the weekend again. Might as well make them good days! And if you need a little help pushing through those midweek blues, come see us here at Dawn's Cafe and let us assist you with that. We have coffee to get you perked up and ready to conquer the day, or refreshers if you need a little less perk but a little rejuvenation as well, smoothies if you just want a healthy pick me up, or ice cream to help fight the heat and just as a treat to reward yourself and give you a little motivation. We have our new summer specials menu running as well, so we have a ton of new options for you to choose from. Or let us create exactly what it is youre craving!

This is our Dubai Dream iced latte off off our new summer specials menu. It is a pistachio and chocolate latte with chocolate drizzle and a strip of real pistachio cream up the cup and on the mouthpiece. This is the real pistachio cream that is used in the super expensive candy bars and other sweets that are so popular right now. There is not a upcharge for this drink, it is the same price as all of our summer specials. It is such a delicious drink that is a must try if you are a pistachio lover or if you haven't tried any of the other Dubai flavored things out there and want to see what all the rage is about without breaking the bank. It really is such a unique but amazing flavor.

Good morning and happy Tuesday all my beautiful people! The week is in full swing and we hope it is going amazingly for you all. Our week is starting off wonderful, and yall are sure keeping us busy between all the ice cream youre getting and how much our summer menu has already caught on. We love seeing all of our old faces and meeting new friends. We enjoy being part of so many of your daily routines! And making new routines with you as you transition from school routine to summer routine. We are just proud and grateful that you make us a part of your day and we want to keep getting you exactly what you want and need, alongside the friendly, personable service that you have come to expect. We have always wanted to be more then just a coffee spot. We want to be a place where you are felt welcomed and appreciated and we always try to give a little bit extra to provide that. Over the last few months we have gotten to know so many of you and that's exactly what we always envisioned. A place where you actually know the people serving you. So thank you to each and every one of you that has stepped through our doors!

This morning, I wanted to highlight one of our ice cream specialties. This is our Brownie Sundae. It is a warm brownie, topped with a scoop of our vanilla bean ice cream, a healthy shot of whip cream, and drizzled in chocolate sauce. It is so good and the cold, creamy ice cream plays well off of the warm, rich brownie. It is a perfect treat no matter if you have one solo, or pair it with your favorite latte. Stop by and try one for yourself today. We are pretty confident that you will not be disappointed!

Good morning and happy Monday all my beautiful people! And also, welcome to June! A new week and a new month all in one. And its going to be an amazing week and the best month ever! Well, maybe not the best ever, but im confident that its going to be pretty darn incredible. School is out, the weather is heating up, and the water is getting warm. And here at Dawn's Cafe, we have been prepping too help you make the most of these summer days. We have brought in a few new menu items and we have also brought in ice cream and a whole new Summer Special Menu.

Speaking of the Summer Special Menu, there will be one drink that is carried over from the Spring menu. We always have one or 2 drinks on our specials menu that are the clear cut favorites, and i dont like recycling specials from one menu to the next, but this time we had SO many people ask us to keep the Summer Breeze, that we had to consider it. And it does already have "summer" in the name, and the profile fits what we were trying to do. And ultimately, this business is about our customers. So if so many of yall want us to keep offering it, who are we to not oblige. And with its popularity, we decided to also do a little spinoff of it as well. So the first drink that I will highlight off our Summer Special menu is the Midnight Breeze. It is the summer breeze with a little chocolate added. So it is a latte with caramel, coconut, and chocolate, in a cup drizzled with chocolate sauce and real coconut flakes dropped into the sauce. Then it is topped with cold foam, another layer of drizzle, and another pinch of coconut flakes. It is so delicious, and if you like our Summer Breeze, you have to give the Midnight Breeze a try! As with all of our Special menus, all drinks are available in Hot, Iced, or Frozen.

Good morning and welcome to the freaking weekend all my beautiful people! Its going to be a incredible weekend for us all, i can feel it. And we are here to help be a part of it. Come by Dawn's Cafe on your way to whatever fun activities you have planned and let us help fuel you up to make the most of the day. Coffee, smoothie, latte, refresher, cold brew, ice cream, muffin, breakfast sandwich, sweet treat, bagel, avocado toast, milkshake, and so much more. We can find what you need, so come by and make us a part of your weekend.

I just poured up a new batch of our house made, special recipe, never from concentrate, fresh ground, one of a kind, stout, smooth, and delicious, cold brew. So that's definitely what im having this morning. I gave it a splash of coconut milk and a layer of cold foam to top it and slowly mix in to give it a velvety texture as I drink it. Im pairing it with a orange cranberry muffin. Been awhile since I had one of these and I been craving it for the past couple of days. There is something about the way orange and cranberry goes together to make a whole new flavor that is so so delicious. Come by and try one for yourself and see what I mean. Or grab one of our other mega sized muffins. We have 8 different ones for you to choose from. Red velvet, blueberry, double chocolate, apple streusel, banana nut, pistachio, orange cranberry, and our course, our customer favorite french toast.

Good morning and happy Friday all my beautiful people!! Last day until the weekend, and I am so ready for it. This week has been crazy(in the best way possible) here for us so hopefully we get a little time to chill and decompress during the weekend. But not until after 2, because as always, we are here for you from 8-2 on Saturday and 9-2 on Sunday. So make sure you come by and see us here at Dawn's Cafe.

Today is friday, so that means frappe friday here, but I didnt do one for myself this morning. Ill be sure to make myself one this afternoon though! I had a bagel with cream cheese and we brewed a new single orgin that we have never offered here before, so I had to try that this morning. It is a light-medium roast from Papua New Guinea. As with most single orgins, it is a very different and unique taste. Im pretty sure that I like it more then the Vietnamese that we just ran through. But I dont think it will over take the Ugandan. I also made another drink off of the list of possibilities for our summer special menu. It was a white chocolate and strawberry macchiato with pieces of strawberry and topped with whip cream. It was very good and the strawberry combos have been a favorite with you all so im thinking that this one has a good chance to make the final menu.

I also have a fresh batch of cold brew brewing as we speak and it will be poured tonight just in time for the weekend. So make sure you stop and grab yourself a cup while its super fresh! And that also means that we only have a few cups of the batch from earlier this week left, so if you want some, get here soon!

Good morning and happy Thursday beautiful people. Already through midweek and only one day away from the end of the week! It has already been a busy morning here at Dawn's Cafe, but we are still wanting to see you and help you get your Thursday started on the right foot. Or come by and see us a little later on and grab yourself a midday treat with our hand dipped ice cream or one of our delicious crumb cakes.

Thursdays are my errand day so I had to have my morning drink while working. This is a drink we are testing for our summer menu. It is a Pina colada latte. Espresso chose made with coconut and pineapple syrup and added to milk, topped with cold foam and a little drizzle. It is surprisingly a little better then I was expecting. I dont know if it will make the cut, but it is definitely a contender. If I try it again, I may add a few coconut flakes.

Good morning and happy humpday beautiful people! Wow, already midweek. Short weeks are so great. We hope your week is going as good as it can go and that it is flying by for you the same way that it is for us. Lots of little projects going on here and still working hard to narrow down this summer menu for you all. This is our Dawn's Cafe exclusive Dawns Daybreak. It is our coastal take on a ice cream float. It is 2 scoops of rainbow sherbet in a cup with starry soda. It is so good, light, and refreshing! Come by and try one for yourself

Good morning and happy Tuesday all my beautiful people! Hopefully you all had a wonderful memorial day and didnt let the rain ruin your day. We had a great day up here at Dawn's Cafe seeing so many of yall and then heading home a little early for some chill time. The other great thing about holiday Mondays is that it makes for a short week! So that means we can really give it our all and absolutely crush it!

Our spring special menu is about to come to an end so I wanted to highlight one of your favorites for one last time. This has by far been our most popular special menu item ever offered. I have went through a ridiculous amount of coconut flakes, lol! It is our iced summer breeze latte, which is coconut and caramel with real coconut flakes in a cup drizzled with caramel and topped with sweet cold foam and more drizzle and flakes. It has been a massive hit with you all. So come down and grab yourself one while its still available, or come try to talk us into keeping it on the specials menu!

Good morning and happy Monday all my beautiful people. Its the best kind of Monday that there is, and that's a holiday Monday!! I hope you all have some fun and amazing plans lined up and that u spend it happy and surrounded by loved ones! But also, dont forget to remember to give thanks for what the day is actually for, and that's to remember and be grateful for the ones that gave the ultimate sacrifice. It will be a shorter day for us so that we can do exactly that. We will be closing at 1pm today but will be back open at 6 am tomorrow morning.

This morning im having a butter pecan cortado. I need that strong caffine this morning, lol. A cortado is a double shot of espresso with a equal amount of steamed milk, no foam. It is a strong drink, but the milk takes away a bit of the sharpness and makes it smoother and not bitter. It is one of my favorite drinks for a fast acting pick me up. Im pairing it with our avocado toast. We were at the end of the loaf and we dont serve the ends or the piece next to the end because they are usually too small for our preference. So even though this is a decent sized avocado toast, any piece you get here will be significantly larger. Here at Dawn's Cafe, we serve a oversized avocado toast, using sourdough bread, topped with avocado spread and everything seasoning. It is a light, healthy way to get a little superfood into your diet and satisfy your morning craving just right. Plus it pairs wonderfully with just about any coffee.
