The past few days have been heavy on our hearts. After the vandalism outside our restaurant, we realized that sometimes moments like this are the final sign, the finality that we do need to move on.

We opened Casa VALIJO with faith, love, and hard work. Every detail came from a place of hope: to give Torrington something special, a space where families, friends, and neighbors could come together to enjoy good food, laughter, and memories.

For a while, we truly had that. We met incredible people, shared amazing nights, and created moments we’ll always carry with us.

But now, it’s time to close this chapter. With heavy hearts, we have decided that Casa VALIJO will be closing in Torrington.

We are deeply sad because we had such big dreams for this place and for what it could mean to this town. Still, we are grateful, grateful to God for allowing us this experience, to learn, to grow, and to share something beautiful with our community.

Our last day of operation will be: Friday, October 31st.

We hope to see you all celebrating karaoke on Thursday, October 23 and our Live Salsa night on October 25th!

This is not the end of Casa VALIJO, only the end of our time here in Torrington. Thank you to everyone who supported us, believed in us, and became part of our story.
