Our fifth tea offering for our website launch is Earl Green! For lovers of Earl Grey, Earl Green offers a lighter, brighter twist on the classic. This blend pairs bergamot oil with a smooth green tea base, creating a cup that feels fresh, citrusy, and gently uplifting. This is a great choice for anyone looking to add something new and unique to their tea collection - but don’t be surprised if it becomes your favorite tea in your first few cups!

Even opening the bag of this tea fills the room with the bright scent of bergamot, and that aroma stays present once brewed. The green tea lends a soft vegetal sweetness that balances the citrus flavor of the bergamot beautifully, resulting in a cup that is clean, refreshing, and elegantly romantic.

Rooibos is our first herbal tea selection! (sometimes called “red tea”) comes from the rugged mountains of South Africa’s Cederberg region, where the rooibos plant has been harvested and enjoyed for generations. Naturally caffeine-free, it has been long valued as a comforting everyday drink that can be enjoyed morning to night.

When brewed, rooibos produces a deep reddish-amber cup with a natural smooth sweetness akin to honey. The flavor is warm and mellow, with a gentle earthiness at the finish. Unlike many herbal teas, rooibos has a rounded body that feels rich and satisfying without bitterness. It’s a wonderful end-of-day tea when blended with your favorite milk and a touch of honey (but not too much as rooibos is already sweet on its own).

Rooibos is packed with , like polyphenols that can help neutralize free radicals and help protect against cell damage. Other compounds present in rooibos can help lower LDL cholesterol and raise HDL cholesterol, and may help balance blood sugar levels and improve insulin resistance. We LOVE our ! Earl Grey is one of the most instantly recognizable teas on the planet. Current legend states that the blend was created in the 1800’s for British Prime Minister Charles Grey, when Chinese black tea was scented with fragrant bergamot (a coastal Mediterranean citrus fruit). Whether or not the story is absolutely true, the pairing has been extremely popular ever since.

Our Earl Grey starts with a smooth black tea as a base, combined with bright bergamot oil. The citrus smell out of the bag is distinct and pungent; the aroma and flavor melds beautifully with the black tea once it’s brewed. The bergamot is the first thing you taste, with the smooth tannic finish of the black tea pleasantly coating your mouth as you swallow your sip.

This classic tea is incredibly uplifting; a great start to your morning at home, but just as enjoyable as an afternoon pick-me-up. Earl Grey is lovely with a splash of vanilla syrup (bonus points if it’s homemade) and some milk; there’s nothing quite like a London Fog. Even iced or cold brewed, the bergamot remains king (or Earl, if you will) and is the highlight of this tea.
