🌼 **A WEEK AT MARIGOLD MARKET** 🌼
What a week! Our hearts — and our little Market — have been FULL. 💛
This week we had the joy of celebrating a milestone birthday with our sweetheart Gerene 🎂. We were also thrilled to host Blanche’s beautiful Watermelon Festival T-shirt quilt— such a special piece filled with years of memories and a little bit of Monroe County history. 🍉
We were so happy to welcome the Class of 1964 Reunion to Marigold Market! There’s just something special about watching old friends gather around a table, share stories, laugh together and reminisce about years gone by. We’re honored they chose our little place to be part of their reunion.
And a big thank-you to Cleary’s for choosing Marigold Market for their lunch! We never take it for granted when a local business, organization, family or group chooses to put our food around their tables. 💛
We also loved seeing students come through the doors after school for a quick treat, a little conversation, and a place to hang out before heading on to whatever was next. 💙🩶
And while watermelon was definitely in the air this week, we started sneaking in a little **FALL!** 🍂 We introduced some of our new seasonal favorites, including our **Harvest Chicken Salad**, our warm **White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle**, and some fall coffees that might just be too pretty to drink ☕️ (Almost. 😉)
And then there was the Watermelon Festival! 🍉🍉🍉
Our FIRST Watermelon Festival as Marigold Market — and all we can say is **WOW!** What a day! Thank you to everyone who walked that extra block from the square, stopped in, grabbed a bite, cooled off with a drink, or simply came by to say hello. We loved every minute of being part of one of our community’s favorite traditions.
This week also brought a little change to our Marigold family. We said goodbye to Ada as she begins a new journey, and we wish her nothing but the very best in what comes next. 💛 And we said HELLO to Kayla, the newest member of our Marigold team! We’re so happy to have her with us. 🌼
Through the birthdays, reunions, festival crowds, after-school visits, new menu items, hellos and goodbyes, one thing never changes:
