It is with mixed emotions that we share the news that Mancy’s Ideal, nestled in the Hobby Lobby plaza on Monroe Street, will close on Saturday, January 13, 2023. After careful consideration, the Mancy family has decided not to renew the lease for our popular establishment.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our exceptional staff whose hard work and "big smiles” made every visit to Mancy’s Ideal memorable. Our dedicated management team deserves special recognition for their efforts in building the restaurant’s popularity and fostering its financial growth over the years. Our entire staff has been offered positions at our other restaurants.
To our loyal patrons, we extend our gratitude for your support of Mancy’s Ideal. Your patronage at Mancy’s Ideal and all of our restaurants is the only reason we are entering our 103rd year in business in our beloved community.
As the curtain draws to a close for Mancy’s Ideal, we look forward to the future with hopeful anticipation. The Mancy family remains committed to the legacy of our business. As many patrons know, several young 4th generation Mancy family members are pursuing careers in our industry. Perhaps one day, future generations will bring back our cherished establishment, Mancy’s Ideal.
