What is a Pa Jolly or who is Pa Jolly? I still don't know but I do know it saved my sugar craving and need for something cool last night at Pa Jollys Ice Cream. Are you a peanut butter ice cream fan? It's my go to when I can't decide and this was first time here but I arrived a few minutes past closing (oops). The young people running it were so kind to take my order still with a smile for me and someone else in line. Amazing customer service!

That being said, they are open 1130am to 9pm weekdays but until 10pm on weekends. There's a little construction on Sylvania at Douglas but my Google maps took me on a 1 minute drive through a nice neighborhood that popped me right into their parking lot. Don't let the construction deter you if anything it made it so nice and quiet on the patio without cars barreling by and I'm sure restaurants affected by street closures need us the most. The Reeses peanut butter sundae was 4.75 and filled with that hardening chocolate, sweet peanut butter sauce, whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry on top.

Have you been here? Why does Toledo have so many ice cream spots I'm just now discovering? Maybe we all need to slow down and see what is around us. Stay cool, Toledo.
