Happy Sunday High Country from Riverside Restaurant and Provisions!
It has been a few months since we have posted and we have some announcements for you...
As of February 28th, 2023 Riverside Restaurant and Provisions is permanently closed in it's current location. We can't begin to emphasize how disheartening it is to have to make this announcement. Long story short, the only option we were given does not allow for our small family business, or any business of that matter, to successfully operate in that location. That was our baby and our family and staff treated that location as if it were our own. We thought we were going to be there for a very long time but it is what it is and there is nothing we can change.
It is a very special place, in part by it's location, but more importantly the way that our family, staff, customers and locals made it a community meeting place for folks from all walks of life and we will truly miss you all. So many fun parties, cookouts, concerts, crazy Sundays...that we can look back on with a big smile. We are so thankful for the time we had there and have made some lifelong friends and family because of Riverside. We are not going away. We will be back in another form hopefully in a new location in the local area at some point. Until we find another location we are booking the caterings pretty hard. We have already started booking events, weddings, rehearsals, corporate lunches...throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall so far so please keep us in mind and pass our info along if you know someone looking for a catering service. No event is too big or too small.
We also want to thank all of you for accepting our family into this small, local community. Not being from here and not living in the high country for too long, so many of you have welcomed us into the community, the schools, churches, sports clubs...We are so grateful for the support you all have shown us and we really appreciate you giving us a chance as a family and a small business trying to make it here. The small business community in Todd is very special and helpful towards each other so please keep that vibe going. There are not many places left that still have that bond. It's sad that the post-covid craziness, staffing shortages everywhere and the ups and downs of the economy had no effect on Riverside or it's reason for closing. We were actually up in sales from year to year, increased returning customers and the large majority of our staff returning. Speaking of staff...Wow!! what a great bunch of ladies and gentlemen. We had lots of fun, even when things got a little crazy on Friday nights or Sunday lunch. We are so thankful for all of our current and past staff who helped form Riverside into what it had become. The Clayman family will always be so blessed to have had our staff that we did and to become part of our family.
If any of you have unused gift cards that were purchased we will honor them when we open a new location so don't throw them away.
You can message us here on facebook or reach out to the email listed below if you would like to contact us for any reason, catering requests and pricing or have knowledge of public events coming up you think we would be a good food vendor for...Thank you all for a great run and we look forward to seeing you all around town soon. Cheers!
Josh and Libby Clayman
