Good Thursday morning, y’all!

It’s already hot out here this morning, and I’ve been outside giving my plant babies some water before this heat gets the best of all of us.

We’re still loving on this old 1870 farmhouse, one little project at a time. Scott is good with just about anything outside. He can run heavy equipment, clear, grade, clean up land, help with yards, and make a place look cared for again. But this old house still needs a few finishing touches that are outside of what he does every day.

If y’all know somebody good with trim work or siding, send them our way. We need some siding finished on the porch where we moved the door and made my pantry.

Our Polish chickens are growing too, and they are just about the cutest little things around here. We also have several pullets that are getting bigger and should be laying before too long. I’m going to put a list down at the stand of the chickens we have available. We also have several roosters here, so if you’re looking for one, just let us know.

Little by little, the Lord keeps helping us make this place feel like home.

“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:17

The coolers are stocked this morning with peanut butter cookies, lemon blueberry glazed cake slices, chocolate oatmeal no-bake cookies, fresh tomatoes, and eggs.

Sourdough is in the oven and will be out in a little while. Rice Krispie treats and cinnamon rolls are coming too, and I’ll update y’all when more hits the stand.

I’ve noticed over the last few days that we’ve had several people stop by the stand. I’ve gotten to talk to some of you, and some of you I’ve missed, but I just wanted to say thank y’all.

Thank you for showing up, even when the coolers are empty or I’ve already sold out for the day. That really means more to me than you know.

I just wanted to give y’all a little life update and let you know a little more about us too. I think it’s important to know who’s baking your food. 😉

Some of y’all may have seen the little bio I have down there. I’m a hospice RN, and I’m also back in school working toward becoming a nurse practitioner in mental health. So life is busy. I’m seeing patients and families, studying, raising kids, and just trying to do what the Lord has called me to do in this season.

The baking part has honestly become an outlet for me. It’s something I’ve always loved doing, and to see y’all showing up, asking for more, placing orders, sending messages, and leaving kind reviews has been so humbling. I don’t take any of that lightly.

I saw the sweetest thing at the stand this week, and I just wanted to share it with y’all. I’ve told my small group at church that this little stand has become a place where I’ve been able to share Jesus. I’ve gotten to talk with some of you about life, children, divorce, sickness, hard seasons, and all the things people carry. And I’ve prayed for many of you after those conversations.

The other day, I happened to look down there while I was on the phone, and I saw a couple praying over another lady right there at the stand. I just stopped what I was doing. I kind of lost focus on the phone call and just joined in from where I was, thanking God that He meets us wherever we are.

That’s really what this is about to me. Loving people, sharing Jesus, and depending on our perfect Savior, because He is the only One who can truly help us through every part of this life.

I’ll also share that we’ve been carrying a heavy burden for a long time. When we bought this place, we did it in faith before selling the house we moved from. That house has been a financial burden, and we have prayed over it every single day. We have asked the Lord over and over for His will to be done.

Well, last night, after being here for a year and a half, we finally signed a contract with buyers, and Lord willing, that house will be sold soon.

We are so thankful. God’s timing is precious, even when it feels hard to wait on it.

So with all of that going on the last few days, I’ve been tied up with phone calls, paperwork, and just life stuff, and I haven’t been able to keep the stand stocked like I want to. I’m sorry if you stopped by and the coolers were empty.

I’m going to spend the rest of the day baking, and I’ll let y’all know when I get things stocked again.

Hey friends! 🥰

I have 15 cinnamon rolls in the cooler right now marked down to $3 each.

Y’all come help me clean out this cooler so I can keep baking and filling it back up!

And don’t forget, these cinnamon rolls are meant to be warmed up before you eat them. I leave the icing on the side so you can take them home, warm them up, and then drizzle that icing over the top like they’re supposed to be eaten. It makes all the difference!

I baked sourdough this morning and put it down here, and I noticed there is one loaf left. I’ll have more sourdough out tomorrow.

I also have about 10 dozen fresh eggs ready to go.

I put a bigger cooler down here for the baked goods. The white Igloo cooler on the left has the baked goods, and the brown cooler on the right has the fresh eggs.

Come by and grab a little something today! We’re so glad y’all are here. ❤️

Good morning and Happy Fourth, y’all! 🇺🇸

We are collecting eggs from Dad’s house this morning, so give us until around noon or 1:00 and you should start seeing eggs and goodies going out at the farm stand.

For those who may stop by and don’t follow this page, I wish there was an easy way to let everyone know. Y’all help me spread the word if someone asks: treats and eggs will be out after lunch today.

We’ll keep adding things through the afternoon so you can grab something before you head out for fireworks tonight.

Have a safe and happy Fourth, y’all! Happy 250th birthday, America! ❤️🤍💙

Happy Fourth of July weekend, y’all! 🇺🇸
We’ve had so many people stopping by the stand the last few days, and all of the eggs we had out have sold.
We should have more eggs either later today or first thing in the morning. My dad has a whole bunch of chickens at his house too, and he brings his eggs here, so between his chickens and ours we usually stay pretty well stocked. With so many people in town for the holiday, we’ve just had a lot more traffic, and that is a blessing!
This past week I’ve been out in the field helping hospice patients, so I haven’t had as much time at home to bake. I’m sorry to anyone who stopped by today hoping for goodies and didn’t find any out.
I’m in the kitchen today and working hard to get several things ready for tomorrow morning. Once everything is finished, I’ll post a list of what will be available.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy Fourth. Thank y’all for showing up for our little stand. It means a lot. ❤️

Monday night treats are still waiting at the stand.

Everything gets tucked into the coolers at night, so be sure to check inside the coolers when you stop by.

There are still cinnamon rolls, cinnamon roll cookies, banana bread with nuts, banana bread slices, Reese’s peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, Fruity Pebbles treats, and plenty of fresh eggs from the girls.

Grab something sweet for tonight or breakfast for tomorrow.
