There’s always room for one more reader.

The Emberlight Book Club gathers at Misty Ember Café for good books, thoughtful conversation, and a cozy excuse to slow down for an evening.

And we’d love to have you join us.

Whether you’re a lifelong reader, getting back into reading, or simply looking for a welcoming place to meet new people, there’s a seat for you.

When: Once a month, typically the last Saturday
Time: 7:00–8:30 PM
Where: Inside Misty Ember Café
Vibe: Calm, focused, candlelit, friendly and cozy
- Not intended for anyone under 16

Our selections rotate and reflect community input, with genres like:

Cozy fantasy
Clean fiction
Whimsical classics
Creative YA

Each month, 2–3 books are selected by the hosts or café, and members get to vote on their next read.

And yes, there are perks for bringing a book-loving brain to the table:

10% off drinks during book club meetings
An Emberlight loyalty card toward a free drink
Occasional themed drinks inspired by the book we're reading that month.

Want to host a night? We encourage it. Hosts can receive a free drink, Host Spotlight feature, gift card opportunities, the ability to choose the book or format, and a free pastry on meeting day.

Most importantly, this is a safe, welcoming space for readers of all levels.

No pressure to finish the book.
No criticism.
Just conversation, creativity, and different perspectives.
