Adoption days are always bittersweet. ❤️

They're the days we work so hard for, but they're also the days that tug at our hearts the most. Saying goodbye is never easy when you've cared for and loved these cats like family.

Today, Jackfruit and Tabitha Marie each found their forever homes. While they aren't leaving together, they are both beginning amazing new chapters with families who chose them and can't wait to love them.

This is why we do what we do. We miss them the moment they walk out the door, but knowing they're safe, loved, and finally home makes every goodbye worth it.

Congratulations, Jackfruit and Tabitha Marie. We can't wait for the updates from your forever families. 🐾❤️

Bajah's Cat Cafe is looking for a **part-time Barista** to join our team!

✨ **What we're looking for:**
• 20–25 hours per week
• Primarily weekdays with some weekend availability
• At least **1 year of barista experience** required
• Espresso experience is a plus
• Friendly, reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in creating a great experience for our guests

Some cats love to be the center of attention... Pippa is more of a professional nap enthusiast. 😴 Whether she's stretched out on a perch or snoozing in a sunny spot, she's mastered the art of looking absolutely adorable while doing absolutely nothing.

Today I learned of the passing of one of my favorite teachers, Mr. Bob Creaney.

He taught my freshman English class, and I'll always remember how kind, patient, and understanding he was. Anyone who had him knows he had a huge love for Disney, especially Mickey Mouse, and that joy was contagious.

Because of him, I fell in love with Great Expectations, and he made English a class I genuinely looked forward to. Freshman year can be a difficult transition, but he had a way of making his students feel supported and believed in.

Thank you for the kindness, the lessons, and the memories. You made a lasting impact on my life, and I know I'm just one of many students who will never forget you.

Rest peacefully, Mr. Creaney. ❤️

Robert "Bob" Creaney, longtime Portsmouth teacher, U.S. Army veteran, and devoted family man, passed away July 1, 2026, at age 81. Funeral services are July 11.
