This has been one of the hardest posts I've ever had to write.

After many prayers, tears, conversations, and a lot of thought, I've made the difficult decision to close the doors of El Rincón Mexicano.

We will be closed Tues - Thursday and this Friday and Saturday during Oil Fest will be our final days, with Saturday being our last day open.

To everyone who has walked through our doors over the years... thank you.

When I opened this little restaurant, I never imagined how many lives would touch mine. What started as a dream became so much more than a business. It became a place where strangers became regulars, regulars became friends, and so many of you became family. We've celebrated birthdays, graduations, new jobs, anniversaries, and life's little moments together. We've laughed, shared stories, and created memories I'll carry with me forever.

Running a restaurant has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done, but it's also one of the hardest. The long days, late nights, early mornings, sacrifices, and endless hours behind the scenes are something only other small business owners truly understand. As much as I love serving this community, I've been given an incredible opportunity that I simply couldn't pass up. Sometimes life opens a new door, even when it's hard to close another.

As emotional as this is, I don't want anyone to think this is goodbye.

It's simply... see you later.

Our dream isn't ending—it's just changing. We're continuing to work on our food truck, and I can't wait for the day we can serve all of you again from a new window instead of these four walls.

To every single person who has supported us—whether you came once, once a week, told a friend about us, shared our posts, left a kind review, or simply cheered us on—thank you. You helped make this dream possible, and I will never be able to express how grateful I am.

If you're able, we'd love to see you one last time this Friday or Saturday during Oil Fest. We'd love the chance to say thank you in person, share one more meal with you, and celebrate everything we've built together.

This isn't the end of El Rincón Mexicano.

It's just the beginning of our next chapter.

We will be closing at 4pm today (Friday July 10th). We will be in the Scheide Park for the awesome event starting at 6pm. Bring your kids out for some fun with music, bounce house, ice cream, and yummy food!!
