This week we restored a deck for a repeat customer. We started with an application of sodium hypochlorite to clean the organic growth. Then we pressure washed all surfaces. She liked the original grey look so we put a clear sealer from Sherwin-Williams and in order to make the repairs that were necessary not so apparent we made a tincture of steel wool and vinegar which darkens wood immediately to get the repaired area to blend in better.

This week we had a laundry list of repairs to do for a wonderful elderly lady that we often do work for. This time around we freshened up the paint on her front door and sidelight we repaired and replaced components of her garage door trim, and then painted. This particular home is in an Association so we were able to color match both with a chip of the paint as well as a code from Home Depot Sherwin-Williams really is spot on with their color match. Durable as well. After the painting and repairs, we removed 15 bushes from the front of the home Lastly we cleaned and seal coated her driveway. This fall we will return to install one room of lvt and 22 handles and k***s for her kitchen cabinets. Always a pleasure to work for Mrs. Brown. She has the most precious puppies ever faith, and hope.

For the last 7 days we have been getting a 3 bed 2 bath condo ready for new renters. The last ones caused quite a bit of damage. We repaired various drywall damage, broken doors and gave the place a new coat of paint. My least favorite thing here was the previously painted shower tile that the renters decided to put contact paper on. 4 hours to get that off with a handful of different tools. I am surprised how good it came out.

This week we helped an older gal fix the damage from flooding in her basement. This job entailed removing all the baseboards and shoe. We then removed the doors and repaired the damaged drywall some of which had to be replaced. After that we replaced the 3 doors, painted the walls and installed new baseboard and shoe trim. Another happy customer 😊

Here we had to replace an exterior garage door. A little tricky taking out the last courses of brick as well as the angle iron. Thankfully it fit like a glove. Used tap con concrete screws to anchor the door in. Ripped down the brick molding and gave it a nice bead of white silicone.

Here we switched the rotted edge bricks on the front walkway for some that are a little more beefy.
