🏃‍♂️ SATURDAY IS THE MOOK XC INVITE! 🏃‍♀️

Bunker Grille will be CLOSED for regular restaurant service today, Saturday, September 19th — but our crew will definitely still be cooking!

We’ll be out on the course at The Mook XC Invite at Alderbrook Golf Course, serving breakfast and lunch to runners, families, coaches and spectators throughout the event.

Check out our Race Day Menu below — we’ll have breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, brisket burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, BBQ pulled pork, all-beef hot dogs, fruit, chips, hot drinks and cold drinks available while supplies last.

And once the last runners have crossed the course and our race-day kitchen wraps up, our crew is headed out to cater a wedding Saturday evening. ❤️ It’s going to be a BIG day for the Bunker team!

We’re all set up under the big tent and can’t wait to spend the evening with you!

🍔 Family BBQ starts at 4:00 PM with hamburgers, hotdogs, Hawaiian mac salad & fruit. Dinner is by donation, with a suggested donation of $10 per person, and ALL proceeds benefit Hope Inspired School 💜💚

Come early, grab some dinner, play some yard games and enjoy time together before we move into an evening of worship, prayer and fellowship led by Anaya Garcia. 🙌🎶

This. This is what we want The Bunker to be. 💛

Last year, this family found us while they were in Tillamook for a family reunion. We had the opportunity to serve them, visit with them and get to know them a little.

Fast-forward a year—and they came back! 🥹
They made a point of returning to The Bunker while they were here again, and the best part for us was getting to recognize them and welcome them back.
Great food matters. Beautiful surroundings matter. But creating a place where people can walk through the door a year later and feel like “Hey! We remember you!”—that's the kind of hospitality we're working toward.

Thank you, Lori, for coming back and for sending us such a sweet message. It was genuinely wonderful seeing all of you again. 💛

THE H.I.S. BURGER! 💜💚

This week’s Burger of the Week is serving up something delicious for a great cause!

The H.I.S. (Hope Inspired School) Burger starts with our ground brisket burger, served on toasted sourdough with avocado, then topped with bacon, Tillamook Cheddar, pickles, tomato & spring mix. 😋

💜 And the best part? For every H.I.S. Burger sold this week, Bunker Grille will donate $2 to Hope Inspired School!

🍫 We’ll also have World’s Finest Chocolate available at the restaurant this week, with proceeds supporting the school.

❤️ UPDATE: Well… they said they couldn’t wait to come back, and apparently they meant it! 😂

Our wonderful guests from this review came back for lunch TODAY after a round of golf—and this time they had to try the Philly Cheesesteak!

And then she went back and updated her review:

“Came back to try the Philly cheesesteak for lunch after a round of golf and I can tell the chef is from the east coast, that meat and cheese combo was everything I’ve been wanting! You won’t be disappointed!”

Eric might be feeling pretty good about himself after this one. 😂❤️

Seriously though, having guests enjoy their dinner enough to come back for lunch the very next day means the world to us. Thank you for spending another part of your vacation with us!

“Don’t let the quiet atmosphere fool you. Bunker Grille is absolutely worth a stop.”

One of our guests shared this beautiful photo along with the sweetest review, and we just had to share. 💛

She tried our Seafood Chowder with sourdough bread, fresh side salad with homemade ranch, and fries smothered in our white cheese sauce —and had some pretty wonderful things to say about all of it!

But our favorite part may have been what she shared about Eric’s Chicken Parmigiana:

“We learned that the red sauce on the chicken parmigiana is the chef’s grandmother’s recipe, and he started learning how to make it when he was just 12 years old. You can tell there’s history and love behind it.”

That one means a lot. ❤️

So much of what comes out of our kitchen has a story behind it, and we love when our guests take the time to notice the homemade touches.

And then she finished with this:

“Every part of the meal exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and it deserves to be busier than it was. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!”
