Independence Street will be closed for this week.

I've made the decision to close for this week 28th-31st. I've been pushing myself more and more and my body and sleep habits are so out of whack that I've been running on fumes for over a month, I've clearly hit a wall. As much as I don't want to, I desperately need a minute to reset. For the rest of the week I'll be focusing on recovering/reorganizing to try to get everything back on track. I will update you guys next week. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.

country ham and gouda is back. As well as a new brussel sprout dish, schnitzel w/mushroom cream sauce, chicken w/ dumplings, and a lemon meringue tart.

Orders for Fried Chicken Sunday are due by 9pm Friday. Lima beans will replace the sea island red peas for this week.

I have a small, unexpected maintenance issue that I need to take care of before opening today. I will open at 6pm instead of 5pm today.
