Thornville will be having their annual community yard sale today and tomorrow, rain or shine!

Our neighborhood will supply the unique bargains and we will provide the sweet treats. 😋

Fresh out of the oven we have:

We had the absolute pleasure baking and decorating this cake for a family so near and dear to our heart. ❤️

A four layer chocolate cake filled with milk chocolate buttercream. This cake was a hefty one! 😆😋

Good morning, Ya'll! 😊☀️

As some of you may already know, I took a few weeks off from the kitchen.

I'm overjoyed to announce...

We are expecting baby #2! 🥳 With all the excitement, comes exhaustion. This first trimester has taken the wind right out of my sails. Not to mention, trying to keep up with a toddler as well. 🫠😆
I say all of that because I may have some slower weeks here and there. But, I will do my absolute best to keep this towns sweet tooth satisfied 🍪🧁

However, today and this weekend, I have opened the porchside stand. Currently we have cheesecake brownies🍫🤤. I plan to make salted maple pecan bars this afternoon for tomorrow and if time allows, muffins as well.

I appreciate all the kind messages and the continued support that you all have shown. I hope you all have a wonderful day! 🫶

As a baker, I thoroughly enjoy making rich, decadent, classic cakes. My triple chocolate recipe is basically death by chocolate! You'll need a glass of milk (or two😄). No artificial colors, filled and covered with mousse buttercream and semi-sweet ganache. 🤤
