Mountaineer Days 2026 is officially underway!
Tucker County Young Life has already kicked off an incredible morning with their 2K/5K walk and run, vendors are setting up along the Railroad Grade, and downtown Thomas is coming alive as we celebrate the Fourth of July and America’s 250th Birthday together.
📻 Join us beginning at 10 a.m. for a live radio broadcast with our friends at 98.9 WDNE as we bring you all the excitement, interviews, and festivities happening throughout the day!
There’s something for everyone all day long:
🎨 Browse dozens of local artists, makers, food vendors, and community organizations.
🎈 Let the kids enjoy inflatables and the Bicycle Decorating Contest starting at 10 a.m.
🇺🇸 Don’t miss the hometown parade at noon.
🍰 Join the Cake Walk at 1:00 p.m.
🎶 Enjoy an incredible lineup of FREE live music featuring BIG DADDY LOVE Acoustic Trio, Heather Hannah, Max Alan, Noah James Music and Philip Bowen!
🎆 Cap off the celebration with the 69th Annual Fireworks Display, brought to you by the Thomas Volunteer Fire Department!
