It’s with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news. The 517 Diner will be closing, with our last day of service on April 12th. This situation is unfortunately out of our control, as the building we currently operate has been sold.
We are not closing due to lack of business or support. In fact, it’s been the opposite. The support from this community has been incredible, and it has meant more to us than words can express.
Jessica has poured her heart, time, energy, and resources into building The 517 Diner into what it is today. From major updates and improvements to countless hours behind the scenes, this space has been built with passion, dedication, and pride.
To our incredible team… thank you.
Every single one of you has been a part of what made this diner special. Your hard work, your warmth, and the way you cared for every person who walked through that door meant everything. We couldn't have done any of this without you.
To our community… there are no words big enough.
Thank you for every early morning coffee run, every breakfast shared, every kind word, every Google review, every like, comment, and share. Thank you for recommending us to friends and family, for supporting local, and for showing up for us time and time again.
This community means everything to us. We’ve built our lives here, raised our kids here, and invested our time into the people and relationships that make this place so special. We truly wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
While this chapter is coming to a close, this is not the end. We don’t know exactly what the future holds yet, but we do know we’re not done.
Over these next couple of weeks, we would truly love to see your faces. Please stop in, share a meal, and help us celebrate everything The 517 Diner has been. And if you see Jessica, please take a moment to thank her for the hard work, passion, and heart she poured into making this a place our community could be proud of.
