Hello Members and Participants:

We are canceling the Spring Ride. The trail conditions are not where we like them to be to have a high volume out in one day. That’s not what we’re about! I know many are out there riding and there are a great deal of reports the trail is getting pretty tore up. We’d hate to shut it down for a few bad apples who think it’s great to destroy what’s not theirs to fix! This trail belongs to the members, it’s up to EVERYONE to keep it up and in riding conditions!! Over the course of the next several weeks, repairs will be made. It takes time, resources, coordination, and weather permitting to address some of the areas needing attention. I thank you to those who have been out there helping and doing their part to keep the trail what it is! It doesn’t go unnoticed! I thank you to those who have stepped up and reached out to help get it fixed! We hope repairs will be made and hoping to have a Fall ride!! Thanks for your patience and understanding as we continue to do what we can so you have a place to enjoy locally!

Earlier in the season;
(Still snow on the ground)
This didn't stop Jiggs Jones from checking on Trail Conditions ...
And finding a tree crossing the trail with his chainsaw.

Indian River ATV Trail-System Trail Update:

We have an individual looking at fixing one area that's bad.
Another individual is going to see what he can do over by the sand pits.
The water is extremely high from all this rain.
We're Hoping the water will settle down enough at some point to get equipment there for a trench to get dug deep enough for the area to drain better by
County Route 46.
Certain water holes are pretty deep to drive through,
and many are passable.

We'll do our best to keep everyone updated with Trail Conditions.

We've had others on the Trails with their own equipment and man/woman power cutting brush, branches, logs, & trees out of the trails.

Anyone helping by cutting and removing any debris, please remember that the trail needs to stay wide enough for 2-way traffic to safely bypass one another.

Hey Folks! We are gearing up for another season!! Passes were ordered late, are in, and already on their way out in the mail!! We are getting ready for our first meeting to establish our Spring ride. We will be meeting at Philadelphia American Legion, 58 Main St, April 17th at 6pm!! We will have passes available. IF you paid online- you will be mailed yours!! We will need some clean up and repairs, so if you’re interested in helping out- feel free to head on out the trail and get’r’done!!! Don’t need our permission to keep things picked up!!! Aside from that! Let’s also not to forget to have some fun!!!

There will be changes coming to our trail pass. All those who paid this year and have not received a pass yet, you are covered as a member and we are tracking your payment for the 2025 year.

Please note our Trail Pass season is Jan 1 - Dec 31.
Trails are open year round.

The pictured ATV, a 2016 Honda Rancher, was stolen from State Street in Harrisville, NY on May 15, 2025 at approximately 11:30 a.m.
