In 2009, my sister, Christina Marie Capecci, had a terrible motorcycle wreck which ultimately cost her, her life. Thanks to the generosity of others, we were gifted with just over one more week with her as she tried to recover in the ICU. Without the blood donations from others, we would not have had any hope or precious final days to say goodbye. The gift of blood is always worth it. If you've never donated before or never even considered it, I would ask you to ponder it today. Please help me honor my sister's memory and sign up for the memorial blood drive to give others hope and life.
