Hard to believe days like this are right around the corner. 🎿🫎

The countdown to winter is ON, and we’re getting ready for another season at the Moose.

If Jackson Hole is on your winter calendar, make sure there’s time for après, live music, good food, and a stop at a Teton Village staple that’s been doing winter for 60 years.

While we wait for winter to arrive, come see us to soak up the last of fall. We will be open through October 23rd, closing for the off-season from October 24th-November 27th.

September 26-27, and the Moose will be right in the middle of it.

Swing by the Mangy Moose cookout tent for our famous pretzels, then wash it down with something from the full watering hole.

A little Moose Monday press roundup.

Over the years, the Mangy Moose has been called everything from one of the “top ten ski bars in the world” to the “quintessential après-ski bar.” We’ll take it.

Because we’ve always aimed to be the place you head after a long day on the mountain - grab a chair, dig into something good, catch some live music, order a strong drink, and soak up a little Jackson Hole history.

Turns out, that’s a pretty good recipe for a legendary après-ski bar.

Fall in Jackson Hole is the sweet spot between seasons.

The summer crowds begin to fade, winter is still waiting in the wings, and the valley settles into a slower, quieter rhythm. Aspens turn golden, mornings come with a crisp edge, trails feel a little more peaceful, and there’s still time for a drive through the park, a ride up the tram, or an afternoon wandering around Teton Village.

At the Mangy Moose, it’s margaritas, familiar faces, and the same easygoing energy that’s been part of fall in the Tetons for decades.

It’s a short season - and one of the best times to be here.

We’re celebrating the Mangy Moose’s upcoming 60th anniversary with something new this winter: the Mangy Moose Ski Club, a members-only ski lounge + ski concierge experience inside the Moose, in partnership with Black Tie Ski Rentals of Jackson Hole.

Here’s what members get:
+ Dedicated ski locker for the season
+ Ski + boot valet service
+ Reserved fireside lounge for you & your guests
+ $500 food & beverage credit at the Moose
+ Limited-edition Mangy Moose 60th anniversary skis ($849 retail value)
+ And plenty more perks

And before you panic: the Moose is NOT going private. We wouldn’t do you like that. 

The saloon, cafe, market and retail floor remain open to everyone, and the restaurant will continue welcoming the public for dinner at 5pm. Members or not, you can still get loose at the Moose.

We’re capping the club at just 100 memberships because, in this case, a smaller club is a better club.
