Hey everyone, I unfortunately have to come with some heartbreaking news to tell y’all that Terry Town Cafe‘s last day will be tomorrow and we will sadly be closing our doors. This has truly been so heartbreaking for all of us after 41 years. The owners of the building sold the building from under us and for that reason did not want to renew the lease.  It’s very unfortunate that it had to happen like this with very short notice, but we are staying positive as much as we can and know that God must have a better plan for us. We will miss you guys so much from the customers and the employees who have truly became family to us. We will miss the community that we have grown so close to in the last 41 years in Terrytown. To everyone that has supported us you will never know how grateful we are to you guys. For some of yall that do not know me I’m the oldest daughter of Lynne and Phillip Songy and this has been a hard time for our family. I remember my parents first starting off this business and they worked  so hard to achieve a growing business and they succeeded. So many memories, laughs, parades(iykyk), employees that have stuck around since day one, winning the best donuts in town right when my dad got sick. It truly was something I know they never dreamed of becoming so big as it did. My dad was one of a kind and if you knew him he was the best! When my dad got sick it was devastating for my family beyond words. My dad a couple of years later lost his battle with cancer and passed away and our hearts were completely shattered. How do we go on with out him? I’m sure most people thought my mom would just throw in the towel ,but she didn’t. She ran the shop for another 10 years until now. She worked so hard put her blood,sweat,and tears into that shop during some of the hardest times of her life and let’s not forget during Covid! She stayed so strong and put everything she possibly had into the shop. She will get through this and come out even stronger no matter what god has planned. We will miss everyone so much, and we ask yall to come pop in tomorrow and see us one last time or until further notice.😌We sadly will not have donuts, but we will have our breakfast plates and coffee. We would love to see everyone’s faces tomorrow. We love you guys so much and thank y’all for everything over these last 41 years! 💙

Tomorrow is National Donut Day!!!! When you buy a Dozen, you will get the Holes FREE, and you may also enter for a chance to win our gift basket of goodies that includes cards for free dozens! We will also be giving out to one lucky person the prize of free donuts for a year! Up to one dozen per week, from our previous post that u still may like, share, and tag ppl in! As always, we thank you for choosing our small neighborhood shop as your choice for donuts, coffee, breakfast, burgers, company, conversation, and everything in between! There’s so many choices these days, and we strive to be YOUR choice! So please stop on by tomorrow for this national holiday so we can thank u! And don’t forget , we are also available on Door Dash and Uber Eats as well!!
