25 Years Later, We Remember 🇺🇸

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001 a day that changed so many lives forever.

Today at Brand 44, we had a special group of firefighters gather around our tables to remember those who were lost, the first responders who answered the call, and the families and communities forever impacted by that day.

Retired Fire Captain Steve shared this with us after their gathering:

“Another amazing gathering on this special day, remembering 25 years ago and all those lost on 9-11. We had 14 in attendance today. Thanks to Polly for the great service and the staff in the back for the wonderful meals. We so appreciate you all hosting us. Polly took this picture. Thank you so much.”

Steve, thank you for sharing these words and this photo with us. It is an honor to provide a place where friends can come together year after year to remember, reflect, share stories, and simply be together.

Twenty-five years may have passed, but the lives lost and the sacrifices made are not forgotten. ❤️

Did you know Terrebonne was originally called Hillman? The name was changed to Terrebonne in 1911, around the time the railroad arrived. “Terrebonne” is French for “good earth” which feels pretty fitting for our little Central Oregon community. 🤎

⚡️ POWER OUTAGE ⚡️

Our power is currently out due to Pacific Power’s Enhanced Safety Settings. With the elevated wildfire risk, their power lines are operating in a more sensitive safety mode. Something appears to have tripped the line, and Pacific Power is taking extra precautions before turning the power back on. These safety measures are designed to help prevent wildfires.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who was dining with us when the power went out and for any inconvenience this may cause. Unfortunately, this is completely out of our control, but we will do everything we can to get back up and operating as soon as power is restored.

We’re keeping a close eye on the outage and will update everyone as soon as we know more. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding! ❤️

The girls had SO much fun last night celebrating at The Source Weekly’s Best of Central Oregon Party! 🎉
