Well... how did you think those chairs got up there?

At Mogger's, the history isn't something we hung on the wall for effect. It's built right into the building.

Our 1862 dumbwaiter is one of those original pieces that's still here...and every now and then, we put it back to work. More than 160 years later, it's still hauling things upstairs like it has somewhere to be.

Old building. Real history. Good pub grub. And a few stories tucked into every floorboard.

Mogger’s isn’t decorated to look historic…it truly is.

The building dates back to around 1837, and Matthias Mogger operated his brewery here from 1848 to 1868. Today, you can still feel that history in the old brick, worn wood, winding staircase and tucked-away corners.

The next time you visit, take a minute to explore. There’s so much character here and nearly 190 years of stories inside these walls.
