High Ground Gravel returns to Alpine Lake Resort this Saturday, October 17! 🚴

The Boathouse is the race start and finish, and spectators are welcome. Please park in the upper lots across from the Boathouse and keep the course clear.

Plan ahead for race-day access:
• West Alpine Drive will be closed from Beaver Pond Lane to the parking lot entrance across from the playground, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Use the Rhododendron detour via Sumac Lane and Laurel Circle, or the East Alpine alternate.
• The boat ramp will be closed during the event.

Cyclists will travel along West Alpine and exit via Baneberry. Please watch for riders on open roads, drive slowly, and follow event staff directions.

Alpine Lake’s 2026 Deer Management Hunt is approaching, and hunter registration is open!

📋 Registration: September 28–October 11, 2026
📅 Hunt dates: October 26–November 8, 2026
🏹 Archery and crossbow only

Visit https://alpinelake.com/deermgmt/ for hunt details, hunting-area maps, and a printable registration packet.

Bring completed forms to the front desk, or email them to [email protected] with copies of your driver’s license and valid West Virginia hunting license. Coordinate payment and pickup of your hunting pass with the front desk.

Property owners and visitors: please review the designated hunting areas and use caution when walking or hiking in the woods during the hunt.
