We’ve got a special Thursday edition of Open For Business today. Robert Fisher and Rose Holton just celebrated one year of Scoots Cafe & Ice Cream Emporium in Tennille. It’s got diner, biker bar, hometown restaurant vibes all mixed up into one. I went with their brisket burger. It’s a patty with house-roasted brisket, provolone, grilled onions, jalapeños, and homemade BBQ aioli. It’s a must-try. I’ll have more tonight at 4:30/5:30.

😎In case you missed it….We published the newest version of our menu yesterday. It’s pinned to the top of our page for you so it’s always easy to find!

🔥So we were wondering whether you’ve tried a lot of different items from our menu or you stick with what you know you love.

❤️ Have you tried our best-selling Angus Burger? The Brown Sugar Bacon Cheeseburger is a Scoot’s favorite!! It’s great as it comes, but you can add lettuce and tomato, maybe some grilled onions and pickles?? Is your mouth watering yet?

🔥How about a Cowboy Dawg? Brisket, Cowboy Beans, Grilled Onions and Cheese with our BBQ Aioli all atop one of our all Angus Beef marinated dawgs? Yes, please!!

🥳And what a perfect week to re-introduce our delicious Brunswick Stew?? Hot, chunky, a little spicy. FULL of our roasted pork and chicken, plus ALL the veggies! As a side or as a meal, you can’t beat it!

😍We sold out of our Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars yesterday. Today we’re featuring Salted Caramel Triple Chocolate Brownies. Each one has a Ghirardelli Sea Salt Caramel Square baked inside. Holy Moly, they’re rich!

Please note that we’re now closing at 6pm. We’ll be happy to take your phone-in pick up order up until 5:30 for pick up by 6.

New Hours at Scoot’s for the Fall 2026 season: We’re closing at 6p Wednesday through Saturday. Sunday hours will not change; we’re open from 11 until 2 on Sundays. We will continue to take your call-in orders until 5:30 for pick up by 6.

Good Morning! Happy Wednesday! And…….Happy Fall!! Let’s celebrate🍎

🔥Y’all loved our Steak Sandwich to death last Wednesday, so we’re doing it again! Today’s is a marinated sous vide Flank Steak with great flavor and fork tender. It comes in a hoagie roll with Onions, Peppers and Mushrooms and our own steak sauce!

❤️Everybody’s favorite Brunswick Stew is back on the menu for Fall. We love the chunky and loaded with chicken and pork version. No kidding. It tastes just like my Grandma’s (no Hog’s head, though). Lots of veggies and just enough spice that you know you’re eating the real deal!

🍎Caramel. Apple. Cheesecake Bars. Freshly baked in-house with lots of love. These sold out in a day last week. They’re that good! And of course our Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls are a delight. Warm and Sweet. Just right with coffee!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday, Scoot’s Nation!! This morning the Scoot’s Crew wishes all God’s Blessings on you and yours. So….are you hungry??

🔥Pork. Crown. Rib. Roast. Yes this a one of our most special Specials. No, it’s not your grandma’s pork chop! It’s the “ prime rib” of pork. Sooo juicy and tender, and of course, perfectly seasoned. We’re serving it with our Creamiest Mashed Potatoes, Flattop Green Beans and Sweet Baked Cinnamon Apples. But hey, our quantities on this special are limited and we expect to sell out, so……you know…..

❤️And of course, we’ll be offering our tasty Brunch items—Grits Bowls and Breakfast Croissants are a favorite! And Quiche is on the menu today!!

😎And if you just can’t get enough of them, you may enjoy one of our great McRider Angus Burgers or Dawgs.

We’ll have Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls and Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars, plus our hand-dipped ice cream to satisfy that sweet tooth too!!

🔥How about a trip to New Orleans without leaving WACO? Yep, today’s Shrimp Creole Day!

Our Creole is made from a traditional New Orleans style recipe with a Scoot’s twist. We use sweet peppers, Vidalia onions, and roasted tomatoes to give it an unmatched flavor. Like all Creole, there's a little heat in the back end that's calmed by the tender shrimp and Jasmine rice. Each serving is prepared to order so the shrimp are cooked to perfection. Served with a roll for cleaning out your bowl😎

😎We were pleased with the turnout for National Cheeseburger Day yesterday! We sold out of the Turnover Special, but Sliders are on the menu today until they’re gone. At 2 for $5, you can’t beat it! While there’s a limited supply of Sliders, our McRider Angus Burgers will be available all day!

❤️❤️We like to keep plenty of Sweet Stuff on hand too! Saturdays are great days for stocking up on our Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls for watching the games today or for Sunday morning with coffee. We’ve also been working on some Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars to help usher in the Fall baking season. We’ll even put on a pot of coffee for you!!
