A LITTLE INTRODUCTION & A WHOLE LOT OF GRATITUDE! 💕
We have grown SO much since I first made my introductory post, so I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and let you all get a little glimpse into my chaotic life! 😂❤️
Before opening Brew-&-Play Café, I spent nine years working at a financial institution before taking a leap of faith, quitting my job, and chasing a dream of opening a Play Café of my own. I absolutely could not have done it without my best friend and my sister by my side, helping me plan, brainstorm, and put in countless long nights to make this dream a reality. 🫶🏼
A little about me! I’m a 31-year-old momma of FOUR, and I’ve been a momma since I was just 17 years old. ❤️ Being a mom has been one of the biggest parts of my life for as long as I can remember, and these four babies are a huge part of the WHY behind everything I do. 🥹
One is homeschooled, one keeps me busy with baseball, and the other two keep life just as chaotic! 😂 On top of running the café, I also work part-time at Cracker Barrel because, well… these kids aren’t cheap! 🤣❤️
I love anything involving water, hanging out in the backyard with my babies, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys! 💙🏈 I’m also a people pleaser, which probably isn’t the BEST personality trait when you’re a small business owner. You quickly learn that you can’t please everyone, no matter how hard you try… but you can always try! 😉😂
As we creep closer to December and celebrating ONE WHOLE YEAR of Brew-&-Play Café, I can’t help but stop and reflect on just how far we’ve come. 🥹❤️
Starting a business hasn’t always been easy. There have been stressful days, long nights, unexpected challenges, and plenty of learning along the way. But there have also been so many amazing memories, friendships, smiling kiddos, and moments that remind me exactly WHY I took this leap of faith.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Thank you for bringing your babies to play, grabbing a coffee, attending our events, sharing our posts, inviting your friends, and supporting this little dream of mine. Every single visit, share, kind word, and recommendation means more than you know.
Brew-&-Play Café wouldn’t be what it is today without YOU, and I will never take that for granted. 🥹☕️
Here’s to everything we’ve accomplished in our first year and all the exciting things still to come! I have a feeling we’re just getting started. ❤️
