Great Article about Pearl Beer and what became of it. If we can ever find a source to get some more...then we certainly will. Pearl Beer is a major part of the history of Tom Sefcik Hall. It was the only brand of beer available here until 1952. That year is when Sefcik Hall expanded its line of available beer brands for the public to enjoy. Alice Sulaks sister Adele along with her husband Ed Urubek actually distributed Pearl in Falls County thru their whse in Marlin TX till the early 70s. So for sure Pearl Beer is deeply intertwined with Tom Sefcik Hall and the Sefcik/ Sulak family. According to Charles Mikeska of Mikeska Distributing...there currently is no brewery in Texas brewing Pearl Beer. Hopefully that will change and Tom Sefcik Hall will one day have Pearl Beer available again.

Plaque presented to Tom T. Sefcik from San Antonio Brewing in 1936 for Distinguished Service.

Although it was never said or discussed...but Im betting there was some bootleg Pearl being served during Prohibition at Tom Sefcik Hall.
