The MTAA (Muhlenberg Township Athletic Association) in conjunction with Pizza Como (Temple) will be running a week long fundraiser beginning today, May 6th thru Sunday, May 10th from 11am-7pm each day.

It’s simple…

Stop in or call, place your order, and state that you are supporting the MTAA. A percentage of the sales will be donated back to the organization. Muhlenberg… it’s your time! Let’s all help the organization the majority of us participated in and are thankful to have in our community. Hope to see all of you at Como this week.

1st annual Golf Trip to Carroll Valley is in the books. Special thanks to Justin Frazier, Golf Package Manager at the Liberty Golf Resort for everything he did to make this happen. Accommodations are first class and the entire event was amazing.
14 golfers split up into two teams playing for the first ever “Yard Cup”. Unbelievably, the Yard Cup will remain where it started as the teams played to a 10 1/2 to 10 1/2 tie.

Some notables this weekend:
Shawn Snyder won the longest made putt with an astonishing 93’0” bomb.
Mike Cafoncelli scored a 79 at the Links at Gettysburg where he was unfazed by the course and the windy conditions.
Christopher Lambi led all golfers with a 75.5 average as he was dialed in all four days.

Thank you for everyone who attended as I know I personally enjoyed the golf, the courses, the facilities, and most importantly, the people. New friendships and memories that I hope last us a lifetime.

Our Indoor Summer League will begin in May. For more information, contact Phil at 484.336.4244. Registration will open April 23rd. Registration fee is $50 with each league round costing $20. The league runs mid May to the first week of September. You play once a week.

The Yard Virtual Golf will be running a FREE two-man scramble tournament Saturday, April 11th (36 holes) and if you make the cut…Sunday, April 12th (36 holes) Call 484.336.4244 for more information and sign up now. Limited spots remain.
