**Disclaimer** ALL REVIEWS ARE BASED ON MY PERSONAL OPINION. I WILL ALWAYS SUGGEST THAT YOU TRY A RESTAURANT AND FORM YOUR OWN REVIEW OF THE BUSINESS. 🙂
So, yesterday, I went to Olive Garden in Temple, TX. I did not make a video, but I can go again HAHA! Long Written review, please click the see more 🙂
I am a VIP because I signed up for their loyalty program, and was given access a week early (starting the 18th of September) for the Never-ending Pasta Bowl. I had to present my email to get the menu, since the event officially starts next week, and they do not have them on the table yet. I will give you a sneak peek at the menu which is not impressive as far as options go, but how many options do you really need to stuff yourself LOL.
If you have never had the Olive Garden Never-ending Pasta Bowl, here is how it goes... There is a different menu with certain pasta, sauce, and toppers that you can add on. Your first selection is an entree size bowl or plate, then each refill is served in the bowls that are usually served with kid's meals. While getting as many refills as you can eat, you can mix and match pasta and sauce while adding different toppers. Toppers do say Never Ending as well. All this, and you also get UNLIMITED SOUP or SALAD and BEADSTICKS!!
The price starts at $13.99 but adding on toppers will increase that price by $4.99. I normally have water to drink, so that was $0. The service was exceptional this visit. The manager on duty was pleasant and the food came out very fast. The server Dona was very attentive and pleasant as well.
I ordered the combination of angel hair pasta with creamy mushroom sauce along with a Tuscana Soup that has Italian sausage, Rold gold potatoes, onions and Kale. Try the soup with a squeeze of lemon and maybe hot sauce if you fancy. The soups are the only thing that is made fresh daily, trust me.
The pasta was cooked perfectly, but was not drained well. The pasta sauce was a bit watered down due to the lingering water in the bowl. It was ok though... a little pasta water mixed in the sauce, actually makes the sauce taste better. My refill was Spaghetti with meat sauce and I had two refills of that. The sauce was piping hot on both refills.. My favorite!! I was there from about 5:30pm - 6:30pm and that was from pleasant company that I had. Sadly, I opted for a digital receipt and cannot find it in my email!!!
In conclusion, I would suggest going between the hours of 2pm and 6pm to beat the crowd, get seated promptly with a selection of booths or tables, and not have to wait a while to get your food. No pics this round but I will see about a video review.
SHOULD YOU, OR SHOULDN'T YOU??
