We are so honored to be awarded for Laymoon Cafe’s role in shaping Downtown Tempe Authority’s culture. Creating Laymoon was a huge leap of faith, a journey that neither of us had ever expected to go on, but something that felt right. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives, and to know that our cafe has had an impact on so many of you is the greatest gift we could ask for as co-founders. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to every single person who has ever ordered a coffee from us, and to every single one of our collaborators who helped two Muslim siblings with a dream make Laymoon possible. This one’s for 🇵🇸!

It only felt right to have these photos be part of our cafe, because everything we do is for them ☕️🌙 Mural art done by the amazing Aml Sultana | Muralist

Combining function, comfort, and culture were big goals for our design when approaching Laymoon’s dining area. Arranging the seating and interior in a way that felt spacious and grand while still ensuring that we could still seat as many people as possible was a challenge we happily took on in collaboration with House of Form 🌙☕️ Stay tuned for more peeks behind the design of our corner of Tempe!
