Back when we opened our Gilbert location, Chuck was there on day one 💛

Over the years, he's become someone our team trusts completely, especially when it comes to large catering orders and deliveries.

Chuck is the kind of person who knows the operation inside and out. He understands the timing, the logistics, and all the little details that help make sure an order arrives exactly as it should. He's also always willing to share that knowledge with newer team members, helping set them up for success.

What we appreciate most about Chuck is the pride he takes in his work. He understands that every order is part of someone's gathering, celebration, or meal with family and friends, and he treats it with the care and attention it deserves. Before an order leaves the restaurant, he's making sure it meets the standards our guests expect.

For many Gilbert guests, Chuck has been helping deliver pizza, catering orders, and family meals for years, even if they've never had the chance to meet him.

We're grateful for everything he does for our guests and our Gilbert team.

And for anyone wondering, yes, he once had a pet seahorse named Charlie. We just thought that was too good of a fun fact not to share 🐴😂

Thanks for everything, Chuck!

You won't need your lasso for this round-up 🤠🎒

Throughout June, we're inviting guests to round up their bill to the nearest dollar to help provide school supplies for local families at A New Leaf 📚💛

A New Leaf is a local nonprofit dedicated to helping families through services like housing support, education, financial empowerment, and domestic violence resources. Your round-up donation helps support students and families as they prepare for the new school year.

Every dollar matters. A simple round-up at checkout can help students start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

Hosted by the Kenneth Anthony Spinato Foundation in partnership with our sponsors and community partners. Special thanks to our Presenting Partner, the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation (), along with our Gold Sponsors Greco and Sons and Johnston & Co

Thank you to every guest who chooses to participate. We couldn't do it without you 💛

This table represents years of listening.

Listening to guests who needed gluten-free options.
Listening to guests looking for dairy-free choices.
Listening to guests who wanted more protein, fewer carbs, or simply something that worked better for their lifestyle.

One of the things Anthony says often is that we're in the people business more than the pizza business.

To us, that means creating a place where more people can gather around the same table and enjoy the same experience.

Regular crust. Gluten-free crust. Dairy-free options. Keto crust.

Different needs. Same pizza night 💛

This month, Andrew is celebrating 10 years with us. 💛

If you've enjoyed a meal at our Bell Road location over the last decade, there's a good chance Andrew helped make it happen.

He's one of those people who can do just about everything in the kitchen, and he's always willing to jump in wherever he's needed. Not because anyone asks him to, but because that's just who he is.

Andrew is the kind of person who doesn't look for recognition, but earns it anyway through hard work, consistency, and always showing up for the people around him. Whether it's helping a teammate, bringing snacks for the staff, or making sure things get done right, Andrew is always thinking about others.

We're grateful he's spent the last 10 years helping take care of our guests and supporting the people around him.

Congratulations on 10 years, Andrew. Thank you for everything you do 🍕

Over the years, many stories have unfolded inside our Bell Road dining room. Families celebrated birthdays, friendships were formed, and countless regulars became familiar faces. But one of our favorite Bell Road stories belongs to Suzanne, who has been serving guests there for the past 15 years.

Back then, Frank was one of our Bell Road regulars, and he always sat in Suzanne's section.

The way Suzanne tells it, he'd come in after work, toss his keys onto the table in the corner booth, order his breadsticks well done, and settle in for a conversation. He could never remember her name, either. He just called her "Minnesota."

Since afternoons were usually slower, there was plenty of time to chat. Suzanne admits she was a little late to the game in realizing what was happening. To her, Frank was just a friendly regular and a nice guy.

Meanwhile, Frank was playing the long game.

One day, before heading out on a trip, he asked Suzanne to text him her shirt size so he could bring her back a souvenir.

That's when something finally clicked.

She remembers thinking, "Nobody needs a text message to remember a shirt size."

Frank didn't need her shirt size. He needed her phone number.

Suzanne played along anyway.

A few years later, they were married.

You'd think when people look back on a restaurant, they'd remember the food first. But more often, it's the people they remember, the conversations, the familiar faces, and the connections made along the way. Bell Road has been that place for a lot of people over the years.

For Suzanne, it just happened to be where she met her husband, too. 💛

Funny how the weather changes what sounds good.

A few months ago, you might have been reaching for something warm and hearty.

Now?

Pistachio-infused mortadella imported from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Stracciatella cheese. Spring mix tossed with lemon and olive oil. Sun-dried tomato aioli. All layered onto a light, airy Pedone Pinsa crust.

The Mortadella Vita.

Something about it just feels right this time of year 💛

You asked, here's the answer 👇

❓ Do you have options for my dietary needs?

Yes! We offer gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, vegan, and vegetarian options so everyone at the table can find something they'll enjoy.

❓ Do you have anything gluten-free besides pizza?

Yes! In addition to our three gluten-free pizza crust options, we offer gluten-free appetizers like cheesy garlic bread, stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, and artichoke dip, as well as gluten-free sandwiches, pastas, and salads.

❓ Are your meatballs beef or pork?

Our meatballs are 100% beef and made with Romano cheese. They're also gluten-free. 😉

❓ What's in the chicken keto crust?

Our chicken keto crust from ZeroCarb is made with just four ingredients: chicken, olive oil, salt, and spices.

❓ How do you keep gluten-free orders separate?

We take several steps to help manage cross-contamination, including changing gloves and using dedicated gluten-free pans, pizza cutters, cutting boards, knives, and preparation surfaces. Gluten-free pizzas are also served on our green checkered paper to help identify them throughout the process.

While we take these precautions, we do prepare traditional pizzas and other gluten-containing dishes in our kitchens, so flour is present in the air. Because we are not a designated gluten-free kitchen, we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur. Guests with severe gluten allergies or sensitivities should use their own discretion when dining with us.

Arizona summers have a way of making you slow down a little. ☀️

And honestly, that's not always a bad thing.

Sometimes the perfect evening is as simple as meeting up with a friend, sharing a pizza, catching up over a glass of wine, and staying a little longer than you planned.

That's exactly what Maria and Nicole did.

If you're looking for a midweek reason to get out of the house, every Wednesday all bottles of wine are half off. Not just select bottles. Our entire wine collection.

So grab a friend, beat the heat, and make a night of it 🍷💛

Well… that’s a wrap on the Simple Chick 🍕

As May comes to a close, so does Rachel’s time on the menu.

And honestly, this feels like a good excuse to look back on a fun collaboration between our team and guests that brought everyone together.

Back in March, we challenged our team to create their own pizzas using ingredients already in our restaurants. Sixteen pizzas entered the bracket. Then you all took over.

Week after week, you voted on matchups on our stories, debated your favorites, and helped us crown a champion.

The final four came down to:
🏆 The Simple Chick created by Rachel
🌶️ Sweet Chili Pizza created by Shandele
🍕 Maria's Chi-Town created by Maria
🎉 Guatemala Fiesta created by Juana

And while the Simple Chick ultimately took the title, every pizza brought something unique to the table.

To Rachel, congratulations on making a delicious pizza that our guests got to enjoy. And to everyone who voted, commented, shared opinions, and made this whole thing way more incredibly fun... thank you 💛

We will be bringing back the Spinato's Sweet Sixteen Bracket next March Madness, so everyone, get your pizza creation thinking caps on!

Meet Brandon 🍕

If you’ve ever ordered a pizza from us at our Scottsdale location, there’s a good chance Brandon had a hand in making it.

He’s the kind of person who pays attention to the details. Always using his scales, making sure every pizza has the right spread, and taking real pride in the food he puts out.

And honestly, you can tell.

Because making pizza isn’t about getting food out quickly. It’s about caring enough to make it right every single time.

We’re really grateful for people like Brandon who show up every day and make quality personal 💛

We’re excited to announce that Anthony Spinato has been recognized by Phoenix Business Journal as one of this year’s Most Admired Leaders 💛

Anthony grew up in this business, making pizzas in the kitchen, helping guests in the dining room, and doing just about every role in between before stepping into the CEO role in 2023.

What makes Anthony’s leadership special isn’t just the title. It’s the way he shows up for people. The way he listens. The way he leads with heart. He’s always believed that taking care of team members and guests comes first.

He says it all the time: “We are not in the pizza business, we are in the people business.” And if you know Anthony, you know he means every word of it.

Under his leadership, we’ve continued to grow while staying grounded in what matters most, creating a place where guests feel genuinely cared for and team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow. That same belief helped guide our transition to employee ownership in 2025, something still incredibly rare in hospitality.

Anthony, we’re proud of you. Grateful for you. And very happy you still know how to make a pizza when needed 🍕😉

Congrats on this well-deserved recognition.

Back in March, Rachel from our Tempe location created the Simple Chick for our March Madness Sweet 16 pizza bracket 🍕

Round after round, you all kept voting for it… and eventually voted it all the way onto the menu.

Now, after a full month of people trying it, sharing it, and coming back for it again… Rachel has one last reminder:

You only have until May 31st to get it 💛

Made with an EVOO base, mozzarella, house-grilled chicken, roma tomato, red onion, and garlic, the Simple Chick has become a favorite for a lot of people this month.

Still haven’t tried it yet? There’s still time 👀

Veronica, thank you for spending part of your night with us 💛

We loved reading about your evening exploring Agritopia, sharing a gluten-free pizza and Caesar salad with your daughter, and absolutely demolishing the cheesy garlic bread before getting a photo of it 😂

Hearing that our gluten-free options helped make your night feel easy, welcoming, and delicious means a lot to our team, especially on a busy Friday night.

We also just want to say thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave reviews, share feedback, and tell us about their experiences. Whether it’s a compliment, a critique, or something in between, we really do read it all and use it to keep getting better.

What’s the best way to reheat pizza?

According to Jai… you don’t 🍕

Jai is one of our company trainers, so she’s around pizza a lot. Which is why we trusted her answer when we asked our team how they reheat their slices.

Method #4: The Cold Slice ❄️

No oven. No skillet. No air fryer.

Just straight out of the fridge.

According to Jai, cold pizza is already perfect the next day, and honestly… a lot of people seem to agree with her.

So now we need to know:
Are you team cold pizza or not?

Everyone deserves to feel excited about what’s in front of them at the dinner table 🍝

That’s a huge part of why we added our new gluten-free fusilli pasta and gluten-free meatballs.

Not because we wanted to check a box or add “another option” to the menu. Because people with dietary restrictions deserve food that feels just as good as everything else being passed around the table.

So we took the time to find a gluten-free pasta we actually loved. One with a texture and flavor that holds up on its own, covered in our house-made sauce from Spinato’s Family Kitchen and paired with gluten-free meatballs.

The kind of dish where everybody at the table wants a bite.

Honestly, that’s exactly the point 💛

We’re excited to announce our Mindful Meals Dinner Experience, and you’re invited.

On June 22, we’re hosting a one-night-only private dining experience featuring a completely gluten-free, chef-driven menu thoughtfully crafted from start to finish.

Created alongside four talented chefs with deep roots in Arizona’s culinary scene, this evening is designed to feel elevated, intentional, genuinely delicious, and most importantly, inclusive.

Because the truth is, a lot of dining experiences still aren’t built with everyone in mind.

For many people with dietary restrictions, going out to eat can come with hesitation before the experience even begins. Scanning the menu ahead of time. Wondering if there will actually be something worth ordering. Feeling like an afterthought at what’s supposed to be a special dinner.

And it rarely affects just one person.

It affects families, couples, friends, and entire tables trying to find a place where everyone can fully enjoy the experience together.

That’s a big part of why this dinner matters to us.

Making it easier for everyone to eat together has always mattered deeply to us, and this dinner is an extension of that idea: an elevated culinary experience where every guest can fully enjoy every course.

Not “good for gluten-free.”

Just genuinely incredible food, created intentionally from the very beginning.

We can’t wait to share this evening with you. 💛

Our cookies actually start long before they hit the oven 🍪

The dough is made from scratch by our pastry team at Spinato’s Family Kitchen, then sent fresh to each of our locations where our teams hand scoop, bake, and package them throughout the day.

So when you grab cookies from us, they’re about as fresh as they can be.

And every night after 8pm, our 1/2 dozen cookies are $2 off until close 💛

The magic behind every pizza, salad, and sandwich starts with the people in our kitchen, and today, we’re celebrating one of the very best. ❤️🍕

Meet Jamara from our Tempe location!

For the last three years, Jamara has been a huge part of what makes our kitchen feel special. She’s the kind of person who walks into a shift with positive energy, a smile, and a willingness to help wherever she’s needed. Whether she’s crafting pizzas during a busy rush, building fresh salads with care, or helping her teammates, she brings heart into everything she does.

And honestly? We think you can taste it.

Jamara reminds us that great food is about more than ingredients... It’s about passion, teamwork, and the people behind the scenes who truly care. She brings the kind of warmth and dedication that turns coworkers into family and guests into regulars.

We’re incredibly grateful for the energy, kindness, and consistency she brings to our Tempe team every single day. Thank you for all you do, Jamara. You help make Spinato’s feel like home. 🇮🇹✨

37g of protein. 0g of sugar. Still pizza 🍕

Our keto crust from ZeroCarb is made with just four ingredients: chicken, olive oil, salt, and spices.

High protein, gluten-free, dairy-free, and a really good option for the people at the table who usually have to think twice about pizza night 💛

05/16/2026

Vegetables on pizza still counts as eating your vegetables… right? 🍕

Jokes aside, we know how hard it can be to find a restaurant that works for everyone at the table.

One person wants something vegetarian. Someone else needs gluten-free options. Another person just wants pizza.

That’s why having choices matters so much to us.

Our Veg Out pizza is made with mushrooms, mixed bell peppers, red onion, black olives, mozzarella, oregano, and our house-made signature pizza sauce on top of our house-made dough.

Because pizza night should feel easy for everyone 💛

This is the pizza you all kept voting for 🍕

Back in March, we had our team create their own pizzas and put them head-to-head in our March Madness Sweet 16 bracket.

There were a lot of really good ones, but Rachel’s Simple Chick pizza just kept moving on round after round.

Now it officially has a spot on the menu for May!

Made with an EVOO base, mozzarella, house-grilled chicken, roma tomato, red onion, and garlic, it’s light, fresh, and perfect for this time of year.

Rachel’s been so excited to finally share this one with everyone, and now it’s your turn to try it 💛Simple Chick

Nicole’s Notable Cookies started with a recipe from Nicole Spinato and quickly became one of those “you have to try these” desserts our guests keep coming back for. Made with rich bittersweet chocolate chips, brown sugar cookie dough, and baked fresh daily, they hit that perfect balance of nostalgic, gooey, and dangerously easy to keep eating.

And because fresh-baked cookies are meant to be enjoyed fresh… every night after 8pm, you can get $2 off a ½ dozen until close (while supplies last).

Order one for the ride home, bring a dozen to the family table, or add some to your delivery order and become everyone’s favorite person for the night 🤌
