Dear valued GEN guest,

Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen our communities, our nation and our way of life, changed in a way that no one would have ever imagined. Despite operating at a monetary loss, GEN Korean BBQ House swiftly adapted a different business model to meet the needs of the community. When we first started GEN-To-Go, the idea was that we could offer frozen meats for you to enjoy at home. Over time and as the demand changed, the to-go concept eventually evolved to become freshly cooked, ready to eat meals you’ve come to enjoy today.

Operating at a revenue loss was something we always knew would catch up to us but despite this, we pushed forward with you in mind. However, eventually at some point, we knew we would eventually need to return to normal operations or if not, cease our limited operations to preserve the resources we had remaining to make an even stronger comeback. Sadly, that day has come. As a solid brand rooted in the community, GEN Korean BBQ House will return.

Although GEN Korean BBQ was made for full service dining and an all you can enjoy dining experience, hopefully when we do return, we can offer a combination of what we’ve done great (All You Can Eat, Full Service) and new lessons we’ve learned (GEN-To-Go). With this said, GEN Korean BBQ located at Tempe will again be temporarily closing its doors but will look forward to a day where we can open again, full steam ahead. Until we see each other again, take care and be safe out there.
