AZ Bread Co was founded in 2004 by Carol Phillips. Her vision was to have a community breakfast and lunch spot where you can gather and eat great food at reasonable prices. Since she is from New Mexico, there tends to be a lot of green chili on the menu. They are famous for her jalapeno queso dip (spicy cheese sauce) that they put on many items but which you can also purchase as a side (or by the

quart to take home). Carol sold AZ Bread Co Cafe to her manager, Connie in April of 2017. Connie has upheld most all of the menu items and created quite a few of her own popular items. If your dog is well behaved they can sit on the patio with you. Our mission is to be the best locally owned breakfast and lunch spot in Tempe. We want to provide great food, great coffee, and a great place to connect with one another. Come by and experience the good food, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly service that have made us the valley's most enjoyable community gathering place.
