Mission accepted.

This past weekend we touched down in Sacramento to huddle up with Patrick and Bobbin Mulvaney and the Visit California team, plotting our next move: the delegation dinner we’re cooking at Terra Madre in Turin, Italy this September. Eighty seats. September 26th. Policymakers, educators, chefs, journalists, and Slow Food people from every corner of the globe, all at one table, waiting to taste California.

No pressure. (Okay, a little pressure. The good kind.)

Because this isn’t just a dinner, it’s a love letter to this land, north and south, written in regenerative soil and stubborn, joyful sustainability. We are entrenched in this food movement heart and soul, and getting to represent California on a world stage feels like the honor of a lifetime.

And the time with the Mulvaneys? Beyond words.
We broke bread again and again, including their monthly family dinner, surrounded by farmers, educators, and everyday earth-lovers who just get it. That kind of company reminds you exactly why this work matters.

Think of this like finding a hundred year old house and deciding to bring it back to life, board by board, meal by meal. We’re not just going to show you the finished dinner in Turin. We’re taking you with us through every twist: the planning, the debates, the “wait, THIS is the dish that tells our story” moments. All roads leading to something even bigger: Terra Madre Sacramento 2027.

So yes. Food James Bond. We’re in. Shaken, stirred, and completely obsessed with getting this right.

A few months ago, we ran a Kickstarter to build a farm for our community. It didn’t fund.

Yesterday, it came back, bigger. City of Temecula, TVUSD, MSJC, and County partners all at the table, building an educational farm space for K through 80. 🌱

Sacramento has Farm to Fork. Temecula’s about to have Farm to Classroom.

More to come. 👀

We’re getting ready to bring Temecula’s story to the world’s biggest food stage, and honestly, we can’t wait for you to come along with us. This valley has given us everything; farmers who believe in regenerative agriculture, a community that shows up, land that’s alive and ready to grow food the right way. When Chef Leah takes our story to Terra Madre in Turin this September, she’s bringing all of you with her, because this movement isn’t just ours, it’s ours together.

We’ve built something here in Temecula that matters, and we’re ready to prove that food done right, with intention and integrity, can change how the world eats. This is just the beginning.
