Today (technically yesterday, but we were closed) we got to celebrate something pretty incredible: Diana Babbs has officially been part of the Angelo’s family for 40 YEARS!
Four decades of showing up, working hard, taking care of our customers and being one of those familiar faces that so many people have come to know and love.
If you’ve been coming to Angelo’s for any length of time, chances are you know her. She’s waited on generations of families, she’s watched kids grow up and eventually come back with kids of their own. She remembers her regulars, knows what they like, notices when someone hasn’t been in for a while and genuinely cares about the people sitting at her tables. That kind of service can’t really be taught. It comes from truly caring about people and taking pride in what you do and she has given that to Angelo’s and our customers for 40 years.
Of course, after four decades, she also knows this place like the back of her hand. Very little gets past her, she has a very particular way of doing things😂 Rest assured, if something isn’t quite right… she’s going to notice. But that’s also part of what makes her so good at what she does. She cares.
40 years of loyalty to one business is an accomplishment that deserves to be celebrated. Employees like her are incredibly rare and we don’t take for granted how fortunate we’ve been to have her choose Angelo’s year after year.
Diana, thank you for the thousands upon thousands of customers you’ve taken care of, the countless shifts you’ve worked, the relationships you’ve built, the memories you’ve helped create and the heart you’ve poured into this place.
Angelo’s has changed in a lot of ways over the last 40 years, but we’re incredibly lucky that one thing has remained the same…you’ve been here, taking care of our customers through all of it.
We love you, we appreciate you more than you know and we are so proud to celebrate this milestone with you.
Please help us congratulate Diana on an AMAZING 40 YEARS at Angelo’s! 🎉🍕
And if she’s ever waited on you over the years, we’d LOVE for you to leave her a favorite memory or a little love in the comments. We have a feeling there are quite a few stories out there. ❤️❤️
