Someone came in tonight and brought a blast from the past. I was in the kitchen and didn’t get to see who brought these old corn meal bags from dad’s (Lynn) first restaurant, Dixie Creek BBQ. I used to rollerblade thru the aisles. I believe we opened in 1994. Dad had always worked outside and done things with his hands. He had never run a restaurant but he had an opportunity and he took it. He and mom making the decision for him to do that changed our lives. We are very fortunate people. Thank you for the meal bags. They brought a huge smile to my face!
