Dear Taylor friends and fans,

It is with great excitement and a little heartache that we announce a new adventure for the Curb Side family!

This Sunday will be our final day of service as Curb Side Coffee House, before reopening early next month as Good Strangers, under the ownership of longtime Curb Side/2nd Street Farm-to-Market projects manager Sarah Fisher.

Sarah brings 20 years of experience from popular mom and pop cafes, award-winning fine dining, culinary festival production and an intimate farmhouse bed and breakfast --- in other words, our legacy of thoughtful food and sincere hospitality is in good hands.

You can still expect the same high-quality coffee, with an even greater emphasis on local roasters, and many of the fresh-baked favorites you've come to love.

I will be returning to my studio and flying off to grand adventures when the time comes, but you can expect to see me at the cafe counter and around the McCrory Timmerman most days.

So come by this weekend for that souvenir Curb Side stamped cup and bid us bon voyage!

Starting TODAY we will be open for take-out service from 9 am to 2pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Come in for your favorite treats and some stellar coffee, made just the way you like it. COFFEE ALERT!☕🚨
Hey friends, we're happy to announce a tentative return to the scene. Starting Friday, May 8th, we will be opening for weekend business! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we will be open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. for carryout orders. We'll have all your favorite coffee drinks plus a few new items you're sure to love, so come by to see us!

We are of course still doing our best to prevent the spread of Covid, so we ask that everyone maintain social distancing as best as you're able so we can all stay healthy, and continue to serve up the best coffee in town. See ya soon !

Hey Taylor! We want to say thank you for your support as we ride through this tough time together, we're currently making some changes to our operations so that we can get back on the scene in a safe and responsible way to ensure that our staff and patrons can interact without jeopardizing anyone's health. We still want to offer up good coffee of course, so starting today you can get killer iced caramel lattes by either the quart or half gallon so you can get your fix and drink it too! Go to 2nd St Farm to Market to pick up this amazing nectar along with all the great grocery options, and let us know what you think. (You're really gonna like it)

Hey neighbors, we want to remind you that, while we are on pause, 2nd St Farm to Market is still hard at work making sure that good food is available to everyone. You can call in to (512) 269-7890 for no contact curb-side pickup, or make an order for grocery delivery! There are a lot of new grocery box options like the Staples Box, which has kitchen essentials like milk, eggs, bread, and yes, coffee; or the Deli Favorites box which has an assortment of deli salads, soups, freshly baked bread, pizza, all made in house. You can also get a Java Pack, that's 3 quarts of our delicious cold brew plus a quart of either coffee creamer, or one of our dairy free milks like almond, coconut, or oat milk--- plenty to keep you caffeinated for several days. And because we keep it local, we're now carrying 6-packs of Texas Beer Co. Pecos Amber, Local Blonde, Hoppy Duck, and Bill Pickett Porter. The gang at Curb Side/2nd St are here to make sure you have all you need, and want, to enjoy your time at home. We appreciate each and every one of you, and want you to stay well fed while we do our part to flatten the curve. Stay cool, stay safe, and stay home. 😎

Hey there Taylor,

The team here at Curb Side Coffee want to take a minute to say thank you for supporting and adapting along with us as we've worked to stay open and keep everyone safe. We love being able to serve you and see all the smiles a great cup of coffee can bring, especially in a time when we could all use a sense of normalcy and little extra pick-me-up.

However, we all have a responsibility right now to protect one another from illness and prolonged economic hardship, so it is with a heavy heart that we announce the temporary closure of our storefront in downtown Taylor. Many of our staff members have expressed their wishes to practice social distancing and self isolation, and we respect and praise their decision to do so. We also thank them for voluntarily making space for other team members to keep working behind the scenes.This break from the grind means we will be working with our sister business, 2nd St. Farm to Market, so that we can still provide essentials to our valued community. 2nd Street Farm to Market will be serving hot drip coffee and cold brew to-go or in 96oz to-go carafes, fresh beans to brew at home and a small selection of breakfast pastries will be sold in multi-packs.

We hope to be back to normal as soon as circumstances permit. In the meantime, stay tuned to 2nd Street Farm-to-Market on Instagram and Facebook for details. And above all, stay healthy and be kind to one another.

Hey Neighbors,
Curb Side is going curbside!
We have been watching very closely and learning everything we can about COVID-19 in order to keep our staff, patrons, and community healthy while providing food and comfort as long as safely possible.

But it is time to step up our efforts in compliance with county mandate, so effective today, Curb Side Coffee House cafe seating will be closed until May 11th, but we will be serving espresso drinks and coffee to go from 6am to 3pm daily, from our front door turned carry-out counter.

Until we can resume business as usual our house made pastries will be made available in multi-packs, so you can hunker down at home and enjoy a bit of downtown Taylor at a safe distance.

We strongly recommend calling in your orders and paying over the phone to minimize gathering and points of contact.
