It was a great weekend at the Taylor SPJST BBQ Cook-off!!! We got to spend time with friends & family & do what we love!

Out of 59 teams, here are our results:
Sean-4th chicken, 2nd brisket, 10th pork butt, 10th choice
Cassie-final chicken, 10th ribs, 5th brisket, 3rd pork butt, 7th choice, final beans

Congrats to everyone that got their number called!!! 🏆

📣Update: Thank you sooooo much to everyone that came out and supported us tonight!!! We look forward to donating a percentage of our earnings to the Thrall Middle School Softball program!
Sorry we ran out of brisket, but now we know what to expect for next Tuesday! We can’t wait to see y’all again then! 🫶🏽

Sean Leschber got to venture to the David Decker Memorial Cook-off at the Holland Cornfest this weekend! 🤗🌽
He did great with a 1st place corn, 2nd place chicken, 6th place ribs, & 11th place brisket. He ended up Reserve Grand Champion! 🏆
Congrants to Kit Polk on his Grand Champion and to everyone else that heard their song played! 🎶

It was a great week in Kansas City at the High School National BBQ competition with our Taylor High School BBQ team the HOT DUCKS!!! 🔥 🦆
They worked hard and had some amazing turn-ins! Out of about 100 teams, they walked away with 4th place chicken, 17th chili, & 18th steak.
We are so proud of these 4 kiddos! They will definitely be going places!!!!
