We are back home from the National High School BBQ Association Competition at Scheels in The Colony. We are so proud of the Taylor Hot Ducks BBQ Team and all they accomplished this year!

At the national competition, they earned 4th place in Chicken 🍗 and 9th place in Porkbutt 🐖. We didn’t get any calls on Ribs, Steak, Dutch Oven Dessert, and Grilled Cheese, but we’re looking forward to seeing where those landed.

It’s bittersweet to see our four seniors move on. We’ll miss them dearly, but we can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of them.

No matter the final results, this team has already made us proud. Congratulations, Hot Ducks! 🔥🦆

It was a great weekend at the Taylor SPJST BBQ Cook-off!!! We got to spend time with friends & family & do what we love!

Out of 59 teams, here are our results:
Sean-4th chicken, 2nd brisket, 10th pork butt, 10th choice
Cassie-final chicken, 10th ribs, 5th brisket, 3rd pork butt, 7th choice, final beans

Congrats to everyone that got their number called!!! 🏆
