Apparently I’ve been preparing for this role for a very long time… 😊

As many of you may or may not know, this year has brought a lot of change for me both personally and professionally. Some unexpected changes, challenges, opportunities and lessons.
When I walked through these doors at the ripe ole’ age of 22, in 1996, and as employee #18, I never expected to stay here for 30 years. Some of you may not know that as recently as last year, I was fully prepared to walk away from Knukz entirely. Life has a funny way of redirecting us…
I never imagined or envisioned that I would be the one to lead Knuk N Futz into it’s next chapter. I have officially stepped into that role for all of you. I couldn’t have made it here alone…and looking back now, I truly believe this path is where I am supposed to be.
Since the beginning of 2026, I’ve made mistakes, learned a whole lot, asked a lot of questions, and leaned on so many people. The support I have received has been humbling and I am grateful more than I can possibly put into words.
It takes a village to keep a small business running, and I am blessed to have an incredible one. To my employees, customers, friends, family, vendors, and everyone else who has encouraged me, answered my questions, offered advice or simply reminded me that I could do this, thank you all. And to one other amazing human that I couldn’t have gotten this far without, much love and gratitude for your continued support of me! 💕
I will continue to work hard for all of you. I will continue to invest in Knukz, to make improvements and upgrades, and to create new opportunities, as many of you have already seen. 🎶
No corporate extension, no franchising, no second location, just one Knuk N Futz.
