A huge thank you to Michael and Jessica Lombardi for trusting us with such a special day. To be able to work anywhere near the most beautiful house in the world is an honor in itself.

We are so lucky this extraordinary house still exists - and to be able to gather there and celebrate our nationโ€™s 250th anniversary truly feels like a dream. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

The fun thing about having the Knicksโ€™ training facility in Tarrytown is that you never know who might wander into Horsefeathers.

Some of you probably remember Vinny, Tarrytownโ€™s legendary mailman.

One afternoon, Vinny walked in out of the bright sun, his eyes still adjusting. He glanced around, saw what he thought were only a couple of shadowy figures sitting at the bar, dropped his mailbag, took the last seat, and immediately launched into a review of the Knicks game from the night before.

โ€œDid you see all that confetti? Youโ€™d think they won the championship. Canโ€™t wait for them to mess this upโ€ฆโ€

Standing behind the ticket booth, I started frantically motioning for him to lower his voice.

He ignored me.

So I pointed behind him.

Slowly, Vinny turned around.

Sitting right there at the bar were two Knicks players.

He looked at them.

Then he looked back at me.

Then he just sat there in complete silence.

To this day, whenever I run into Vinny (which is not nearly enough since he is retired), we still laugh about it.

One of my favorite Horsefeathers stories of all time.

Letโ€™s go Knicks. ๐Ÿ€
