Blue crab on a brick-oven pizza? Very Tampa. Very Casa.🍕

Casa’s crabmeat pizza brings together hand-stretched dough, a slightly spicy sauce, melted cheese and generous lumps of blue crab for a pie that feels nostalgic, unexpected and very Ybor City.

Inspired by the kind of blue crab pizza Tampa still remembers from the 1970s, this one is made for sharing, talking about and ordering before it leaves the menu.

Come try it at Casa this week and tell us: should crabmeat pizza stay?👀

It’s hard to miss the marble pony on Casa’s wine mezzanine.🎠

Quietly tucked upstairs, it feels like more than a sculpture. It feels like part of the story.

Long before this space became Casa Santo Stefano, the Ferlita family lived and worked here. In the 1920s, this building was their macaroni factory, but it was also their home. They slept upstairs, raised their children, shared meals and made pasta all under one roof.

That history is still part of Casa today. Inspired by Sicily and built around Sunday suppers, family legacy and the stories of Tampa’s Sicilian immigrants, this space was designed to honor the people who came before us. Even the marble sculpture feels tied to that spirit, carved from stone like the marble found in Sicily’s ancient quarries.

Standing near it feels like stepping into something real. A room that once held a family’s everyday life. A reminder of where we come from, what we carry forward and why gathering around the table matters.

Come see it for yourself.

Long before this steak reached our Father’s Day menu, it lived over the fire in Dr. Julius Palori’s backyard.

This Sunday, celebrate Father’s Day at Casa Santo Stefano with the New York Strip “Julius”, a 14 oz. USDA Choice boneless New York strip steak with crimini mushrooms, red wine peppercorn sauce, garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini.

The dish was inspired by Dr. Palori, who grilled Italian sausage and steaks nearly every weekend at his Sicilian family home in Tampa.

Swipe to see Casa’s Father’s Day menu and photos of Dr. Palori, then reserve your table for this Sunday by visiting CasaSantoStefano.com.💙

You found the rooftop. Now meet the story below it.📰

Casa Santo Stefano is housed in the former 1925 Ferlita Macaroni Factory in Ybor City, but before Casa was a restaurant, it was a memory.🧱

Owner Richard Gonzmart created Casa as a fond tribute to the Sicilian food he enjoyed every Sunday with his best friend Vincent Palori’s family. Those Nana-cooked meals became the inspiration for the pastas, sauces and seafood we feature today, not just Sicilian, but Tampa Sicilian.🍝

Inside, Casa also honors the Sicilian immigrants who, alongside Cuban and Spanish families, helped shape Tampa and Ybor City. As word spread that Casa was being built, descendants of Ybor’s Sicilian pioneer families came forward with photos, keepsakes and stories of their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. Many of those memories now fill our walls, making Casa feel like a family album you can dine inside.🖼️

They came searching for America and instead helped create it.

From Nana-cooked Sunday suppers to rooftop sunsets above Ybor City.

Benvenuti a Casa.🧡
