Delivered my first Icing Smiles Cake today. Icing Smiles is a non-profit that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. Cakes are provided by local bakers for ill children and their siblings. In my case the child J.R. is the sibling. Like most 12 year old boys he loves Minecraft.

I felt very honored while creating this cake for a highly decorated soldier. I am humbled by his service and the many hard earned medals in defense of our nation. Congratulations Foxx and Brittaney on your marriage.

This is my first 3 tier cake. Thanks to all the bakers sharing their construction tips, the cake made it to the site without any mishaps. The design is inspired by the plethora of luau cakes online. Thanks to all for sharing your work and inspiration.
