The time is getting close! Bella's on Bayshore (formerly Chubbys) giving out free cheese pizza's. Starting around 12 noon on Saturday while supplies last! Stop by and give them a try. I know I will be there. Come and get some free pizza and check out the new Bella’s! See ya there.

Hello loyal Chubby's customers. The past week was exceptional for us. Due to the overwhelming turn out of our customers. our employees and our food supply were pushed to their limits and unfortunately we could not open yesterday.
Update on the new generation of Chubby's. The new name is going to be Bella's on Bayshore. (Nothing to do with Bella's on Howard Ave) It will still serve pizza and it will be a new and remodeled space. I encourage every one to stop by and check out the new menu at Bella's on Bayshore. I know I will.

Good Chubby Thursday everyone! We have 2 more days left at Chubby's and it is bittersweet. We appreciate all the love and support everyone has show us in the last 6 days. As an FYI we will not be doing any pasta dinners. We are concentrating on Cheese steaks, subs and of course pizza. Come get your steak bomb on.

Good afternoon. Thank you all for a great weekend. As a reminder Chubby's is closed on Mondays. All of us need a day to recoup from what was the best weekend we have ever had at Chubby's. We will be open starting on Tues. - Fri. this week. Normal hours 11am-9pm

Thank you everyone for another great day of love and support at Chubby's! Yesterday was the best day in our history of owning Chubby's! Our full staff of 3, plus Christi and Mike will be there all weekend. Stop in an get your Bomb on, but please be patient and expect a small bit of a wait.

Thank you all for you wonderful comments and fond memories of Chubbys. We know there are allot of questions about what is going to happen to Chubbys. Good news; it is NOT going to be condos or apartments!
Actually, it is still going to be a pizzaria! Chubbys is moving into a new and exciting time in it's life. The young couple that bought the restaurant have big plans to give it a nice shot in the arm. A new and improved version of Chubbys.
The new owners are from Tampa, they grew up SOG. They are very excited to get a business in South Tampa and will do great things with it.
Please welcome them with all the love and support that you did us. We will continue to post and keep everyone updated as we know more.
As a favor, please don't call the restaurant with questions.

Good Day Everyone.
It is with heavy heart that I announce the closing of Chubby's Super Subs & Pizza. Friday June 30th will be Chubby's last day. We will be open our usual hours that day. 11am-9pm.
A staple of Ballast point for over 40 years, it will be sad to see it go. We invite you to stop by anytime in the next 8 days to share any stories you might have about Chubbys, we would love to hear them. We will miss all of our customers, they were the best part of the job. Come say goodbye to Chubbys and get your final Bomb on!
