George and Zan Fuller started "Chubby's Super Subs and Pizza" almost 30 years ago when they moved from the New England states down to sunny Florida. "The Steak Bomb" is still a best-seller and a legend among South Tampa residents. Hand tossed pizzas with dough made daily from scratch were later added to the restaurant's menu and instantly became another favorite of the Ballast Point neighborhood ever since. While the Fullers have meanwhile retired Tina Huewe and her husband Carlos are carrying on the tradition in the "little brick building" on Bayshore and Interbay. Waiter service and delivery are available Mon-Sat after 5 p.m. and Sunday all day.
