In 3 days, our little community turns 21. 🤍 It still feels like just yesterday that we opened our doors on Fletcher Ave.

So many of you have been with us through every season of life. We've watched friendships begin, families grow, children become adults, and strangers become lifelong friends. Looking back, it feels like we've all grown up together.

Every anniversary brings a wave of gratitude and reminds us that Kaleisia has always been so much more than a tea shop. It's because of you that it became a community, a gathering place, and a home for so many hearts.

This past weekend, we found a little note tucked away in the shop that perfectly captured what so many of us feel about Kaleisia.

Now it's time to celebrate this beautiful milestone together!

For more than 21 years, 1441 E Fletcher has been more than just an address. It has been a home away from home, and that is because of you.

As our lease came to an end, our family was faced with a difficult choice: close our doors, start over somewhere new, or stay and make some hard changes. Because you are more friends than customers, we want to be open with you about what we decided and why.

WE CHOSE TO STAY.

But a new lease came with a level of pressure we can't carry alone: our monthly rent has doubled. After careful thought and a lot of hesitation, we've made the difficult decision to increase our menu prices so we can continue serving you, supporting our team, and keeping our doors open.

We understand that price changes can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Our commitment to you remains the same: quality, care, and a place that always feels welcoming.

Thank you for standing with us, for supporting local, and for being part of our journey for so long. Twenty-one years in, that still means everything to us.
