Listen, I’m going to say something that’s been on my mind…

Saucy Lady is REALLY affordable. 😂 And I mean really affordable.

My food is freaking delicious. I get compliments all the time, and I’m incredibly proud of what I put out of that trailer. ❤️

But lately I’ve started wondering if there’s a weird psychology to this whole food truck thing…

When people see food trucks at festivals, the trucks with the HUGE lines are often selling $18, $20, $25+ meals. And I get it! Some of those foods are expensive to make. Brisket? Do you know how much that stuff costs?! 😳 Lobster? I’m not even going there. 😂

But then there’s little ol’ Saucy Lady over here serving really good, homemade food at prices I’ve worked hard to keep affordable.

And I wonder…

Does affordable make people think it CAN’T be that good?

Like, “Why is that so cheap? Something must be wrong with it.” 🤔😂

But here’s the truth: there is absolutely nothing wrong with my food.

The problem is that food trucks are expensive to operate, and keeping my prices affordable means I’m the one absorbing a lot of those costs.

I’m not complaining. I’m not giving up. And I’m not going to start charging ridiculous prices just because I can.

I WANT Saucy Lady to be the food truck where you can get a delicious, homemade meal without feeling like you just financed a car. 😂❤️

But I need something from you…

❤️ I’m asking for a little support this Wednesday. ❤️

This Wednesday, September 2nd, from 5–8 PM, Saucy Lady will be at West Park Village, and I would truly love to see some familiar faces.

Running a small business is not always easy. There are days when I question myself, days when I wonder if I’m doing enough, and days when I just need a little reminder that the hard work is worth it. But I’m not giving up on Saucy Lady. ❤️

So I’m asking my friends, family, and everyone who has supported me along the way — please come out and support Saucy Lady this Wednesday. Even if you just stop by to say hello, it would mean more to me than you know.

Friends… I’m putting my pride aside and asking for a little help. ❤️

Do any of you have connections for part-time work—clerical, administrative, customer service, or something similar? I really need to supplement my income, and I can’t continue doing Saucy Lady alone for the rest of this season.

Honestly, I was ashamed to ask before because I felt like needing another job meant I was failing at Saucy Lady.

I’m not. ❤️

I’m not giving up on Saucy Lady. Not even close. But sometimes not giving up means being willing to make a change, swallow your pride, and do what you need to do.

So… I’m putting it out there. If you know of a part-time opportunity, have a connection, or know someone who might be looking for someone reliable, hardworking, organized, and willing to learn—please talk to me.

Guys, I am so grateful. I’m $51 away from making my food cost. I want to thank you so much for all of my friends that cannot support me. I’m going to stay here till 4 o’clock.  You guys are all amazing.

Friends, I need you. There was a miscommunication at the school that I was at this morning. I was expected at 9:30 AM however the event ended at 9:30 AM. Listen, these things happen. I am not upset with the school. I’m grateful to all schools for their support. But I do need to move some product. I was doing concessions. So here’s the deal… I am at the parking lot shared between Verizon & Advanced Auto!
