After more than 50 years of serving the Tampa community, Bar-B-Que King is preparing for a new chapter. ❤️

This is not an easy post to write because this place has meant so much to our family, our customers, and this community for generations. So many memories, conversations, celebrations, and moments of connection have happened within these walls.

As of Saturday, May 30th, Bar-B-Que King will officially close operations at our current location.
We want to sincerely thank every single person who has supported us over the years. Whether you’ve been coming here since childhood or just recently discovered us, please know how much your support has meant to our family.
While this transition may feel sad and surprising to many, we are choosing to view it as a blessing and the beginning of a new season. Sometimes life shifts in ways we don’t expect, and even when something beautiful comes to an end, we can still be grateful for everything it gave us.
Bar-B-Que King has always been more than just a restaurant to us. It has been family, legacy, hard work, community, and love.

As a small thank you to the community that has supported us for generations, we’ll be offering a special through our final week:
