It’s been 22 years and this day doesn’t get any easier…
I usually put a small post out about our day back then, and how grateful I am that Rick Drury came home.
I write about how scared I was, not knowing if I was going to have to raise our firstborn alone, the smell of him coming through the door, and how scary quiet he was for the next couple of weeks…

This year, I am still grateful, but I also realize how much I love and need this man.
From the moment we met, I knew there was something there…

Rick, you are my world.
I don’t care where we are or what we do, as long as we do it together.
I will always have your back (and your front 😜).
You were an awesome paramedic. You were an awesome restauranteur.
Wherever we go and whatever we decide to do, I know we’ll succeed together.

Please try to relax today. You have earned it.

If you see a first responder at a drive thru or buying coffee somewhere, buy it for them. I remember people doing that for us the week after, and it really helped to know people had our backs and supported us.

5 years ago today, we were on the cover of the national pizza magazine, PMQ Pizza Magazine.
Little did we know that just a month later, Tampa Bay Lightning owner would evict us with no notice.
Remember to boycott Sparkman Wharf, formerly Channelside Bay Plaza. He does not deserve your loyalty

Long Live the memories of Channelside. Still so sad that 48 people lost their jobs for nothing and Tampa Bay lost the busiest pizzeria in Florida.

5 years ago today we took pictures for the cover of the pizza magazine PMQ Pizza.
Little did we know that just 60 days later, our evil billionaire, NHL owning team, landlord would evict us with no notice after 13 years. So sad.
