We are not fu***ng cool. I am not a “hip Latina” which is fine because I’ve only ever just been myself. Which is to say I have worked my ass off to have everything I have in my life (which as a brown woman is pretty hard), and I have toiled night and day to educate myself on coffee- from how it grows, where it grows, its history and continued social injustices within the industry… I know what good coffee is and that it should be ground before putting it in a French press… But I’m not cool, and thus Llama Coffee will never be a “cool” or “hip” brand. I will continue to unapologetically be me and do my thing. Which is deliver exceptional quality coffee to your cup or you’ll let me.
