⚾🔥 TAMPA BAY JUST SWEPT NEW YORK — AND NOW IT’S CLEVELAND’S TURN.

The Rays made quick work of the Yankees with a 3–0 ALDS sweep, advancing to the American League Championship Series for the third time in franchise history. New York never led at any point in the series, and Tampa Bay finished the job in just three games.

Now comes Cleveland — and there’s some history here.

This will be the third postseason meeting between Tampa Bay and Cleveland. Tampa Bay beat Cleveland 4–0 in the 2013 Wild Card Game, while Cleveland swept the Rays in the 2022 Wild Card Series.

So yes… there’s a little unfinished business. 👀

And Tampa Bay has reason to feel good about this matchup: the Rays went 5–1 against Cleveland during the regular season and outscored them 20–8.

Cleveland, though, comes in red hot after becoming just the fourth MLB team ever to rally from an 0–2 deficit and win a best-of-five postseason series.
